Ah neh : they offered me sales and non-sales. For non sales, they offered credit analyst department and front line department. At first , i was choosing the credit analyst but due to the position required us the finance background so i changed my mind to front line. I dont think i did well in the interview @.@. haha,, i was wearing a purple top and with the white spec. and you???

same here, i'm looking for non sales too and wish to work in HQ, not sure what they going to offer me.
do u ask how long they going to give us reply? my interviewer told me soonest is in 2 week time.

Ppl prefer non sales because it is really tough to make sales. All ppl prefer free thing.
To be a salesman/salesgal, u must have the ability to handle rejection. Furthermore, some ppl will say something unpleasant when u approach them and some even slam the door in yr face. It's such an unpleasant experience.

I have a miss call at 6.30pm++ last week, I call back and the voice mail introduce pubic bank.. before that I have apply for this job from jobstreet..

I also missed a call from public bank today. That time i was sitting for a test. bad luk

sales department in banking actually work door to door ke? or need to go to supermarket and distribute ur card name ? is this how they work?

for credit cards maybe...
but those in supermarkets and lrt stations most of them are not directly under bank one la.. under some sort of agents or something like that...

for degree holder normally they will arrange u for mortgage equity or stuff like that... loan maybe...
u wont see ppl go to pasar prepare a booth and ask everyone "eh aunty mau pinjam duit kah?"

oh if like that, i still have my place at office la? hehe

nowadays i tot most of the company dont really care about master.
if want phD then only take master or if want to become lecturer then take master.
master took 1 and a half year, and if company pay more to master holder also about rm200 to rm300 higher than degree.
but, by the time graduate, usually friends who dint take master already got much higher salary within 1 and a half year.

is that any vacancy at seremban branch ?? i wish to try about it...just dun wan do C.Card consultant can already....

but when i was doing my internship my supervisor advice me to take master..
he said because he has no master, working in the same company for 30 years, end up a lady which is around 10 years younger than him become his boss...
thats mnc la...maybe small small company they dont care...

my fren is working is singapore, he say in singapore mnc senior manager level easily hold 2 masters and 1 phd
it's not for the few hundred dollars per month he said... it's for the future, to stay competitive

the story is simple...
when u work for around 3-4 years, senior exec level... all new coming fresh grads with a master... would u feel stress? mnc wont allow a degree holder to lead a team of master holder no matter how experienced or capable the degree holder is

How long did it take for the bank to call after you applied?

they call me after about 2 weeks.. I'm not sure how's the others.. maybe faster for those fulfill most of the requirements..
