what will they do since i used more than what they permitted.

and can i terminate the service this early(not even a month old)?

by paying :

RM 99 x 24 months

you'll get :

Dell Inspiron Mini 9 + Maxis Broadband Modem built in it + 6 Months of free Broadband
*
after 6th month, can terminate the maxis broadband line? or must continue til 24th month with pay xtra money?

Well, i called Maxis before and they say any subscribtion < 1 year will incure a RM200 processing fee for any termination.

kudos to piracy! please, keep it to yourself. if there are more you who hog up all bandwidth, eventually, internet2go will be just the same as other bad package. people who just wanted to do legit thing will suffer then.

yes, i'm flame-baiting.

i using this "power" broadband not that small usb modem but the black colour modem.

they told me the speed is up to 3.6mbs
but i try speedtest.net n found out the speed only 300kbs

in the modem setting page, my dl/upload speed seem capped to

364kbs/215kbs

so my question is my modem being capped or i being conned?

Yup... same as my case ...
Actually I already give up with the Maxis BB ... I just want to wait until the contract matured then I will terminate it...
Why I give up with Maxis bb? It is simple, I don't care that Maxis capped us for 5gb/month but the speed of Maxis will keep on decreasing when u were downloading (I not mean the BT/e-donkey) even the Windows/OS patchs files.... and it will stop/hang in the middle of downloading ... what u can do is switch off the modem and switch on again... but all your downloading jobs will be gone like wind.....hoho

Until now, my ubuntu OS still cannot get full updated patches (tried more than 3 mths) mad.gif
