not sure if its my unit only, but i do feel that the camera is a little slow in focusing and a little jerky before it could focus on what is supposed to focus on... and when compared to my dino W800i which is also a 2MP, its not that sharp... any of u guys have this issue???...

Bro I have some problem using garmin mobile xt. Do you mind to share your experience with us? Below are the problem I encounter:-

My Garmin mobile xt is running based on the latest malsingmap. I need some guide how to use it. After I loaded the the software then I press "WHERE TO?" follow by "ADDRESS" then garmin mobile xt will ask me to key in "IN WHICH STATE IS THE ADDRESS" then i press "SPELL STATE" I was stuck until here. No matter what i key in the result is no found

Anybody know how to use it? Please show me some guide I am lost here

hmm.. try searching using Where To > Food, Hotels... > Spell Name
normally i use this options to search and it works...

hehe bro that is the common problem with our i780 camera. I read it from other forum the function of the camera is a little bit weak. But overall I am still satisfied with it. The picture u had taken will be a little bit blur if the camera did not the absorb enough of light. So you must wait until the light balance is steady then only press the shooting button. So it will be slow on taking picture but from my point of view it is okie for me.

ya, same problem wf my old samsung d900, i ask my frens they say their samsung phone oso will lag like this, take few second(about 4 second) to take a pic , then access the memory card is oso damn slow, but this is for my samsung d900 la, so i wanna make sure it is happen on the i780 as well..

i tot i780 don't have focus feature? it's auto focus right?

I am facing the same problem too . Until now still cannot solve it. So now usually what I do is connect to wifi then use web messenger.

my problem solve!
i change my wifi to 'the internet' setting, than i restart my ppc, than it can be connected using wifi for msn msger~!

what is your firmware ? I have updated to i780DXHE1 now the MSN can connect to wifi without any problem.

there is a new firmware released, i780DXHG1... i juz got it from SUMMIT FMG today... after the new firmware, the phone feel much more responsive, not sure if it's only me ;p

anyone here have purchase a car holder for this unit? i'm actually looking for one... please recomend if you have bought one... thank you...

Hi Everyone..

I just bought this i780 last few weeks, got a prize at RM1790 with standard accessories,4gig MicroSD card,screen protector and gift.At first the guy at the shop ask me to choose between bluetooth headset or a casing as a gift.So i choose the bluetooth headset(Jabra).Then later after setup being done and paid by cash, they add in the casing (Capdase Bi-fold casing) as another gift for me.Thats cool.
So far everything works fine for me,the only problem is my 3g video call doesnt works.Before that I've gone to Celcom to upgrade my card to 3g and they have done all the settings for me.My MMS is working but not the 3g video call.I did a few test with my friend,my video call is connected but i didnt see any video on screen and not even any voice come out from the caller.Not sure whether the problem is with the connection setting or the phone setting.Appreciate if anyone here can help me bout this. Thanks.

Hi Netaddictz,

Not sure if this could help but have to tried to check the settings at Start > Settings > System > Operator Settings

Verify if the selected operator is Celcom or Celcom 3G... if its already Celcom 3G, hmm then not sure lar

last time i got same problem ..
i reinstall the mapking / garmin prog .. then problem settled

Finally my video call is working now after I send it back to the shop (PDA Expert) where i bought it.They've check it and found no solution to that.Last solution is to reinstall again the software after backup my data first.They said it could be the software corrupted.It was a good service from them
Anyway, thanks AhTiang for yor tips, actually I've tried that step too before,but still not working at that time.Its ok, coz my phone is working fine now.

yup, i780DXHG1 is the latest ROM by FMG... W6.1 ROM is still not out yet for our model...
