ur looking for b8 pack? which one? 1230 is the regular pricing is it? if it is, dont expect it to go beyond 1100 for discount. that is about 10 percent which is usually they can give lowest for. unless u have dealt or know someone, u might get a lower price. and even so, i think lowest is 1050. if its your lucky day, might get to as low as 985. thats the furthest u can push the price. at least that is what i think.

why dont you try buying separately? if you really are in a very tight budget, heres my recommendation. 1st, for crash, tried stagg 14' dh exo before? it should not be more then 160 and i strongly recommend that. u cant get even crappy brass with that price and beats hell out of it. then for hats, u might want to get something like b8 pro which cost bout 580. then, i guess u have no choice but to settle with solar ride costing 190. thats a total of 930. if you go nag n bargain, im quite sure u can get it around 900. the extra budget, u can always get a splash, if its stagg, it can be as low as 100. so thats 1k. yeah u get a crappy ride, but for starters i personally think its fine. plus your hats n crash is not so crappy and still got another splash to play around with, with extra 200/300 for stands/clamps. personally, that is what i would do. others might differ tho.

buying separately is good.. but if you're on a tight budget, it will take ages to complete it. (like me) biggrin.gif

yup, understood...coz for me also, if i wanna buy something to start with, at least
i will find a decent one, which i could used for quite some times. i will not go for to
crappy cheap cymbal...which only will last for a few month that i have to rob a bank again to purchase a new one.

just my 20 sen...

i totally understood how u feel and at the same time, i agreed wif wut albarb said too...

sometimes, i feel that im in dilemma...
human always wanted something fast and lose their patience, end up getting something that they feel regret...

i dun wan to get something which i will feel regret with...
at the same time, i dun hv the patience to wait anymore! haha...

should i get the drumset 1st before getting the cymbals?
or should I get the cymbals 1st?

haha.. kinda silly...
playing the drumset with cymbals..
or keeping the cymbals w/o a drumset...
lolx... tongue.gif

dude,
actually that is kind of a good suggestion (cymbal w/o drum).
when i got my kit, i can't hardly played it because of neighbour
and i have baby(not mine my sister's) in the house.
the situation continues about 4 years...

then i just bought a snare, cymbal and pedal, just practice in studio...
coz those stuff is a personal think for me...and it is the most thing we played.
now im thinking of getting the practice kit...js music have it...its about 650++.

but still im going to get a new drum
(just waiting for the right bank to rob) heheheeh

agreed with namqul... i think we drummer dont have a lot of patient
