I honestly think that purple set is a steal. The colour is cool lah - if you keep telling yourself that then you'll eventually believe so =S
If you want, I could go with you to test the kit out?
I live in KJ too.

My friend, it seems that the price of this practice kit is going up fast.
Namqul said that he saw it at RM4xx, after that, I saw it at RM560, and now you say it's >RM650. Incredible price hike, wow. |

If you develop blisters, calluses, or joint injuries, it means you got bad technique. Or at least that's what Jojo Mayers says, in his Secret Weapons DVD where he shows you how not to do certain things.
Since I bought this DVD, I'll just assume he's right and believe him or else it'll mean that I've wasted money and time on quack advice. And regarding the Ahead sticks, less shock doesn't lead to less blisters. You have to understand that blisters are caused by friction, not shock. |

I can't remember exactly which drummer, but this guy said he started all over to correct everything from his past playing. IIRC it's Flo Mounier.
I'm willing to bet that there are plenty of others who've gone down the same path, and this is not limited to drummers. Anyway, this is all just to say: If there's a problem, just put some effort to overcome it. If gymnast chalk works, then you've succeeded. |

Yeap, that's about right.
If explained in words, it's simply: you'll need to be able to step on both with one foot, so they need to be side by side. |

Seen that one at JS. It's unresponsive and has a lot of play.
There's the possibility of poor setup, or no setup at all - straight from the box... Let's just say I wouldn't be looking at it if I wanted something along that line. I would say that the other Gibraltar HH stands - no-leg or rotatable leg - are better choices. |

Or Bentley. Seriously they're everywhere. So it's impossible that you can claim that you can't find it.
Maybe I've misunderstood your description... could be some obscure model you're looking for. |

Is it a proprietary part? You could try the hardware store if it's the standard stuff. How about a pic?
