Is there any hacked bios for Biostar TForce 560 A2+?
Thinking of overclocking my mum's PC to the max. Her PC is using AMD X2 +4000, Biostar TForce 560 A2+ & Crucial Ballistix DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 4GB Kit. Right now, no overclocking is done. Is there any possibility that i could run the ram and the X2 +4000 & the ram @ 1:1 ratio? Sorry, n00b in AMD here.  |

Simple law of physics.....the power consumed by your proc will be released as heatwith CnQ disable of course. maybe the 0.4ghz increament not giving much temp increament... cpu power consumption = TDP X (overclocked speed/stock speed) X (overclocked vcore/stock vcore)^2 note that for vcore its squared...so the effect is much more powerful ok.....so assuming you overclocked your proc from 2.0ghz to 2.4ghz(TDP=65W) overclocked power consumption = 65 X (2400/2000) X (1.25/1.25)^2 = 78W Which isnt that much of an increase, proly u'll notice your temps rise by 2 or 3 degrees depending on your cooler. now.....say you have a nice windsor 3800+ F3 and oc to 3.0ghz with stock volts overclocked power consumption = 65 X (3000/2000) X (1.25/1.25)^2 = 97.5W but if you have a brisbane 4000+ and oc to 3.0ghz with 1.4v instead overclocked power consumption = 65 X (3000/2100) X (1.4/1.25)^2 = 116.5W As shown, raising vcore has a much larger impact on power consumption(hence heat released) than raising clockspeed. Hope my long winded explanation answers all doubts |

Just got back hometown and shit happened.
While oc-ing inside my airconditioned room (3.6ghz mission) suddenly the windows corrupt plak ! Then malas wanna repair it tonite so went downstair to use home pc. And went down realized my car alarm goes on and saw two people already open up my car door, thank god before they sempat steal it I shouted at them and they drove off. Blardy thieves ! My place is in Cheras, so better becareful ya guys who live here. Im so frigging scared as I'll be staying here more than a week. Safer to park at college la.
Back to oc topic, I guess my ram cannot do more than 1200mhz la. Seriously lower down the ram speed will find my windows works again ? As for now, it couldnt even boot, even entering the BIOS. So what to do ? Reset the CMOS ke ? |

Just reset the cmos and everything goes fine. Weehoo, now no mood of oc-ing so wait lorr. Ish, I wonder issit my ram the culprit, thot can do easily on 1200mhz and above. Later will try again with looser timing.

OMG..More bad news..I feel that my Proc are un-ocable edy..

But above 350 fsb need one step of vcore each time increasing 2 fsb. For G1 4000+, my proc limit was at 3.0ghz. More than that cannot go but at 3.0ghz stable only at 1.45v. TIPs to get fast in SPI~
simple tweak... u can compete with each other in SPI.. superPI is faster in the diagnostic area.. run msconfig> try search diagnostic or u can try selective setup.. usually AV will remain there.. exit all the application n let the small right icon disable.. run the SPI 1M.. try to tighten the basic timing (by using memset) in my experience.. after u run SPI 2 3 times, it will become more faster.. for special tweak, i hope u can learn about other sub timing.. before this ex F3 at speed 3560Mhz (23.922s) i use onli in normal window environment... not the diagnostic area.. i'm very sure it can improve a lot.. when playing the LE-1620, there is a lot sub timing i tweak, diagnostic area(kdg2 selective), and also perform copywaza.. that can bring u to the cempian.. hope this can help u to compete with each other.. |

Tried so many tweaking to get 2nd place in 3600+ X2 but none success. I guess it is because of my RAM because eventhough I already lower RAM div to 400, I still can't boot to windows with neither 350x9 or 330x9.5, timing already loosen to 5-5-5-18-24 with 2.35 vdimm some more
