jz hot only...Hmm, i wonder is it due to my casing @_@~ + so confusing..which temp to see? CPU or core 1,core 2?
*
brisbane temp probe readings got inaccurate prob. either G1 or G2 both got same prob... smile.gif

anyway, thx to dblooi, my SuperPI 1m result improve abit...but only half second faster... doh.gif

got big fan, but if ur overall airflow messed, then it may not help..to find out further about good airflow for ur casing, can discuss at casing and modifications thread... brows.gif

oit..tido ke?? laugh.gif he is asking about the temp... laugh.gif

from my experience:
Athlon 64 X2 4000+ 2.1 Ghz = 30-35'c
Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0 Ghz = 40-45'c or hotter
AMD Phenom 9100e 1.8 Ghz never tried blush.gif

high clock = higher temp...  wink.gif
*
not necessarily means like that lor...
high clock + stock Vcore = cool
high clock + high Vcore = hot
High clock + high Vcore + Stock cooler = Damn hot laugh.gif

can't really tell as it varies from case to case... in general 4000+ / 9100 is cooler than d hottest 6000+...  doh.gif
*
of course 4000+ is cooler since its use lower vcore and 65nm SOL process somemore compared to 6000+ which is 90nm proc.
and also it uses 130++watt (forgot exact wattage)...
which is most of other brisbane or windsor proc only using either 60watt or 89watt... brows.gifbrows.gif

disagree with d bold part.  smile.gif

stock speed @ stock voltage is cooler than oced speed @ stock voltage.  wink.gif
*
not so sure about that. its actually based on my experience. ocing my proc to 2.4ghz with stock vcore resulting same temp with stock speed @ 2.0ghz.
with CnQ disable of course.
maybe the 0.4ghz increament not giving much temp increament...

Low FSB high multiplier is good for folding since it focuses on proc itself only. But if you want performance or better benchmark result, try to lower it and increase FSB. Or should I say find the optimal setup for your FSB, multiplier and RAM increment icon_rolleyes.gif
*
ala bang, dont use FSB. use cpu freq instead or any other terms...FSB is for intel platform, old tech... yawn.gif laugh.gif

Using lower divider means more stability as ur ram run at its underclock speed. As u oc, the speed will increase as well notworthy.gif Da reason to lower da divider during oc is when u got a failed oc da ram factor is oledi out of da question nod.gif

Tho, this is juz from my noob understanding oni  doh.gif laugh.gif
*
which means the rams oc-ability wont draw back ur proc.....

I think need 1.6V to reach 3.0 stable. But my mobo max 1.5V only
*
pumping so high Vcore/Vdimm for daily 24/7 usage is not recommended.
better lower it a bit...not good for ur proc/ram health... smile.gif

same here. that's why i thought it's okay to try stressing+doing some other things at the same time, to make sure it's 100% stable..  sweat.gif
i think might be better if i increase to 1.4

btw, i got a question.. last night i tried 3.4GHz at vcore 1.53 to 1.65, but i can't pass the windows loading. it'll go blue screen or just stuck..
ram divider 400, vdimm 2.05,  and the refresh cycle timing all at 195ns..
very2 confused what's wrong till 1.65 can't even boot  hmm.gif
*
when u passed certain speed, even with adding Vcore wont help u to achieve stability at higher speed. this is depends on ur luck.
if ur proc is good and manage to stable at 3.6ghz max, further adding on vcore wont help u to achieve higher clockspeed....

in long term will kill the ram . Crucial ballistix tracer is using D9 chipset .u give hw much voltage it perform how much for u .
if wan to 24/7 usage ..2.2v s the best .over then tat is not recommended
*
agreed...the rams performance will degrade over time if too high Vdimm supplied for 24/7. this will make ur ram becomes power hunger while performance decrease at the same time....
