Athlon LE 1620+ is it a good OCer ? Easy to OC ? Kinda attracted to soulfly's result. Thinking of getting it for a girl OCer Does it have any significant diff compared to X2 in most applications or games ?

I see, sweet ! But the vcore looks high but SPI 1M is cool Is that daily setup or just for benchies ?

w00t, 1.6v is safe for daily usage eh ? It may be stable but it looks kinda high though

Everyone seems to be keeping their benchies. Even I manage to get SPI 1M 3GHz ss, but for 32M I don't know what to tweak anymore. Vcore up to 1.48v, vdimm 2.25v with the same timing and also try to lower RAM div but none seems to get it stable

Biostar TA780G is not nice because of the sound. The attractions for me are 6 SATA and the VGA. Btw I like Abit AX78 a lot ! Anyone tried OCing with it ? It can do CF If only it's raining money

Uik, vcore max +0.30V or +0.03V ? If 0.30V, I don't think that's a problem though. If at stock vcore it already runs at 1.2V, +0.3V and that is 1.5V already

I see, but I guess if not aiming that high OCing, it is ok I think. After all it is m-atx board, can't expect that much but still can't compare to TA690G or TF7050

w00t 2.7GHz at stock vcore, mine cannot too. Mine 2.8GHz @ 1.36V

1-2 hours should be fine. For long term stability, 5-6 or 8 hours even better Last time I tried to reach 24 hours, but then Orthos crash at 9 hours +

What mobo did you use previously ? You sure no HTL features at bios to set 600 or 800 ?

How far did you manage to go with that mobo ? It may be an OC mobo but not a killer like TA690G or TF7050. Some more trying to push even higher with shared VGA, it sure a burden for RAM, like mine

BE is the best OCing proc we all can get in the market. If 3800+ F3 is in the market right now, I'm pretty sure most of us will use it anyway

Aiyaa no rich one lerr, 5000+ are meant for OCer

BE attracts me a lot but I won't change my proc since I didn't satisfy it hasn't reach 3GHz stable. It can but too much complication, plus I'm lovin' it

Give guidance, I thought you already quite knowledgeable about OCing. Last time during my 1st OC and start to introduce to college guys, you already know about it and know how to do it

Low FSB high multiplier is good for folding since it focuses on proc itself only. But if you want performance or better benchmark result, try to lower it and increase FSB. Or should I say find the optimal setup for your FSB, multiplier and RAM increment

Yeah I know too lazy to type long terms like bus speed or cpu freq, FSB just 3 letters Or maybe I could just say bus
