QUOTE(xixo_12 @ Mar 16 2008, 11:17 AM) check previous result at the previous thread... i post about 1620.. easy to oc?? good ocer?? look at the pic... single core is just simple... so if u wanna play the latest games better stick to x2.. if just play solitaire for me it enuff... i still can do the calculation using design software.. so no prob so far...i'm not too gamers » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I see, sweet ! But the vcore looks high but SPI 1M is cool QUOTE(-pWs- @ Mar 16 2008, 11:35 AM) Guys, It is great for guidelines Just click on the SPI score, it will link to your result screenie. There is no need to repost the screenie again. -pWs- This post has been edited by afosz: Mar 16 2008, 12:48 PM |

QUOTE(xixo_12 @ Mar 16 2008, 10:22 PM) w00t, 1.6v is safe for daily usage eh ? Everyone seems to be keeping their benchies. Even I manage to get SPI 1M 3GHz ss, but for 32M I don't know what to tweak anymore. Vcore up to 1.48v, vdimm 2.25v with the same timing and also try to lower RAM div but none seems to get it stable |

QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Mar 18 2008, 05:58 PM) bro, i thought u mentioned that u pokai ledi, still go $$ for new mobo? Walawei, a new quote for me that's d spirit, "biar perut kosong, rig tak bleh kosong"... QUOTE(xixo_12 @ Mar 18 2008, 08:35 PM) see my sigs.. support u.. Yeah me too, the love goes to m-atx13 years old.. hard to find mobo with single pcie.. all want double triple card... i love m-atx style only QUOTE(xixo_12 @ Mar 18 2008, 08:50 PM) Biostar TA780G is not nice because of the sound. The attractions for me are 6 SATA and the VGA. Btw I like Abit AX78 a lot ! Anyone tried OCing with it ? It can do CF |

QUOTE(AMDAthlon @ Mar 18 2008, 11:35 PM) OMG..Dam biostar Uik, vcore max +0.30V or +0.03V ? If 0.30V, I don't think that's a problem though. If at stock vcore it already runs at 1.2V, +0.3V and that is 1.5V alreadyThe Biostar TA780MG MAX INCREASE VCORE ONLY 0.30V????? WTH = = Luckily others well.Will try OC later..OMG,how i gonna OC sia with only +0.30V = = |

QUOTE(alive88 @ Mar 18 2008, 11:51 PM) I see, but I guess if not aiming that high OCing, it is ok I think. After all it is m-atx board, can't expect that much but still can't compare to TA690G or TF7050 QUOTE(za_az @ Mar 19 2008, 12:10 AM) w00t 2.7GHz at stock vcore, mine cannot too. Mine 2.8GHz @ 1.36V |

QUOTE(AMDAthlon @ Mar 19 2008, 12:58 AM) Guys, after updated to latest BIOS.Still failed.I think ah,i must get a GC first den OC?After get GC still same probs=Not an OC mobo..Haiz.. How far did you manage to go with that mobo ? It may be an OC mobo but not a killer like TA690G or TF7050. Some more trying to push even higher with shared VGA, it sure a burden for RAM, like mine |

QUOTE(mizivincible @ Mar 19 2008, 05:04 AM) Update : Was on suicide OC just now. I didnt realize the amount of vcore I pumped in and suddenly the whole rig shut down by itself. That time is at 3.6ghz, later found out already at 1.7v. Hehehe,it was fun, but the not fun thing was I just managed to boot with 3.6ghz ONCE, and ran super PI 1M it restarted. After that no more booting at 3.6ghz. Well, at least I managed to experience it within few minutes heehee Later it will be more fun if you're hunting for another F3 because your just die |

BE is the best OCing proc we all can get in the market. If 3800+ F3 is in the market right now, I'm pretty sure most of us will use it anyway

Aiyaa no rich one lerr, 5000+ are meant for OCer
BE attracts me a lot but I won't change my proc since I didn't satisfy it hasn't reach 3GHz stable. It can but too much complication, plus I'm lovin' it |

QUOTE(muh_is @ Mar 20 2008, 09:06 PM) Give guidance, I thought you already quite knowledgeable about OCing. Last time during my 1st OC and start to introduce to college guys, you already know about it and know how to do it Btw mizivincible and muh_is here are from the same college QUOTE(mizivincible @ Mar 20 2008, 09:23 PM) Try la higher multplier with lower FSB. So that wont torture your board too much. What's your daily setting ? Or belum puas lagi still tweaking around ? Low FSB high multiplier is good for folding since it focuses on proc itself only. But if you want performance or better benchmark result, try to lower it and increase FSB. Or should I say find the optimal setup for your FSB, multiplier and RAM increment |
