Mate, overclocking isnt just involving vcore, there's lotsa tweaking and settings involving ram, mobo and of course your proc too. You can check out kmarc's oc guide for starter =)

i want to use bsel mod on my e2200\intel d945gcnl board

after searching through the internet,i found that i need a conductive ink pen to connect the contacts or use tin foil

since i don't have a conductive ink pen,i would like to use the tin foil

can any of the sifus here teach me how to attach the tin foil to the processor?use glue maybe or what?

any help is greatly appreciated

here is my bsel'ed E2180/2X1GB DDR2-667 corsair on ECS 945GC.. oc'ed @ 3Ghz by setFSB.

user posted image

just get any alluminium foil paper, instead of tin foil. Simply use glue to paste on it.

However, i done 333Mhz bsel mod before on P35 long ago. And take note, 333Mhz mod NEVER will work on 945 chipset!

p.s. My processor temp is high, because i running my stock cooler @ 5v less than 1000rpm. load@60" max@62" , why? because i hate noise.. especially those cm blue, green, red fans, when supplying 12vdc : , the noise really make me goes like hell... shakehead.gif

1. Almost all intel mobos have their bios locked, so the only way you gonna get oc is thru pin mod or using an oc program like setFSB

2. Your multi is very high but keep in mind that most E2XXX are limited to around 3-3.2ghz on stock cooling, and most max out at 3.6ghz regardless of cooling methods

How about your ram settings? Please run small FFT 1st. If its stable, then perhaps the problem lies with your ram

think i found the problem

i set the voltage control back to auto instead manual, and no problems.

but the games do crash once and a while, due to overheating?
