nah, i don't expect 4Ghz on stock cooling. even using aftermarket air cooler also i doubt it'll reach at that speed.

if lower multi.....is it possible to further increase the fsb?
i once achieved 389fsbx9
and i wanted to push to 390.....but failed even after lowering multi
maybe i didnt tweak my mobo well enuff i tink

wats the general guide for V@NB?

Actualy, it is harder to oc on lower multipliers with a high multi proc. Im not sure of the exact mechanism, but from what I heard before, the effect of using a lower multi internally raises your FSB strap or smth. Anyway, it goes like

E2160(9X multi) @ 400X8=3.2ghz.

But the actual internal FSB would be running at 400 X 9/8 = 450. I'm not sure if this is true, but my proc is rubbish at anything below 9X multi. It wont boot above fsb 390 at 8X multi n below

I believe certain benchies are marginally faster with high FSB low multi combo. Eg. superpi. At the same time, some ppl belive running FSB:RAM at 1:1 gives better performance.

Hey guys, here's my OC results

E2160 M0 at 3.3Ghz 367MhzX9@1.55Vcore,
'Old school' Mobo Gigabyte 965P-DS3,
+0.2v MCH and FSB,
Kingston Value RAM 667 @ 734Mhz at 5-5-5-15-20 @1.9V sad.gif
'Old school' PSU Acbel i-Power gold 500W
Cooltrek Vostok Water Cooling,Tuniq-TX2 thermal paste...MCH blow by using 8CM fan....

By using IntelBurn test, passed 97 out of 100 cycles, load temp 65C core temp(monitored using Lavalyse 4.XX ultimate sweat.gif will monitoring using CoreTemp/realtemp after this))

and +0.2V on MCH and FSB is it overvoltage adi?

You guys think the results can improve anymore? Probably add the Vcore anymore? sweat.gif willing to try 1.6v later....

ENough la bro!!!! My system which is just semi Burntest stable can run orthos forever and so far i hvnt had any crashes or system hangups despite running comp more than 24 hrs. 1.55v is pretty high ady and your increasing chAnces of proc degradation

though....back in the day i did do some crazy evil things with just air cooling too tongue.gif
