QUOTE(joe_star @ Mar 31 2008, 07:03 PM) Hmm......so does that mean that when i run FSB400x8 the actual FSB is 450? Hmm....but that still doesnt explain why this problem only happens near FSB400 in all multipliers lower than 9. And I tried the vcore n vnorthbrige thing but no solution there. Am already running FSB400x9=3600mhz and ram at 960mhz. Still get arnd 19mins But i guess the problem is ram stability, coz my max stable is only arnd 920mhz. After that can still go but cant pass memtest ady. Agreed wat is ur max speed with cl4? try 4:5 divider if ur ram capable for ddr1000 cl4

QUOTE(Amedion @ Mar 31 2008, 07:26 PM) Teamvalue only lar bro.. Not D9 chip.. Even my Team Elite 2Gb kit can't do 1000MHz CL4.. Not the lucky 1.. Bro, you run 3.4Ghz need how many vcore to stable? c'mon,d9 is cheap nowadays

QUOTE(Silverfire @ Mar 31 2008, 07:07 PM) FSB and RAM and Cache freq is a big factor to get a good result in SuperPI. You'll understand after seeing this. the effect of fsb and ram can hardly see in superpi 1m,unless we are talking about ddr3 with over ddr1600 cl6/7

QUOTE(sniper69 @ May 23 2008, 11:42 PM) no lah, increasing the PCIe just to make sure better stability on higher/faster FSB, i used to use 120MHz or 121MHz interesting..so how much u gain in fsb?

QUOTE(sniper69 @ May 24 2008, 01:36 PM) i don't know for sure since that one followed from shamino's (i assume...) @Quantum Force forum... to be honest... 100MHz or 120MHz or even 121MHz doesn't affect me... , FSB gain...? i don't think i can explain more... later lead to misunderstand, lagi susah... better keep it to myself QUOTE better stability on higher/faster FSB after all this is only assumption?

QUOTE(a1098113 @ Jun 13 2008, 08:13 PM) @coolice but coolice ur running ddr3 and remember that ddr3 has higher bandwidths and superpi likes high bandwidth, with high bandwidth, you get lower clocks... so its not your processor speed also, it is your ram that plays a role as well Speed doesnt mean a thing in SP as my experience showed me.. ur running 1T on your rams... No comparison. if u got the chance, try ddr3 @ tat timing and 1T,tell me ur bandwidth

QUOTE(a1098113 @ Jun 25 2008, 01:09 PM) @fylon what exactly is your OC levels at the moment? Welcome by the way, you have good rams for the wrong proc... nowadays the e2 series fails the user miserably. ANyways have fun here @joe_star For physical features the bios ver13beta and ver14 onwards fixes this issues... but i prefer the older bioses due to the manual voltages u can set for both Vmch and Vdimm. Also, often a board works best on its original bios but maybe its not the case with all the boards.. @sany 334*9 at 1.38V is disappointing as youre still running under the strap of the P35 so i believve your proc aint that good Added on June 25, 2008, 1:10 pmtheres nothing great about ideal temps bro. I can get ideal temps lower than that if i know how to cool my system.. by the way what i want to know is the load temps/. THat defines how good a cooler and how good the ocer is in maintaining tight temps when the tough gets going huh?cooling define ocer's good and bad??first time hearing this
