don't understand why U broadband only give us 50 to 60kbps upload speed.
You want to send a 7MB file and it take very long time.
other mobile broadband is able to provide use with at least 200kbps upload speed.

That is the main reason i am going to cancel my U broadband. sad.gif

this has been stated/said/written many many many times.

umobile 3g broadband only HSDPA = High Speed Downlink Packet Access

Added on April 4, 2010, 7:42 amif u only intend to get ANY 3g broadband for upload, might as well cancel it all.

i dont think others give you decent upload speed, even with HSPA/HSPA+ networks.

Actually, only DiGi provides above 200kbps upload speed consistently. Maxis does too, but not everywhere in its HSPA network. I got as fast as 1.07Mbps upload when I was using Maxis Prepaid BB in JB. Other places I got no more than 128kbps.

Digi provide 200kpbs, that mean 20-30kb/s. The speedtest show 0.3mpbs upload.
I already terminate it not because of the speed, it because digi sometime ( most of the time) not able to upload to some website. Some user also complaint about on the upload issue.
Even digi said HSPA network with HSUPA uplink, but digi olny give 384k max upload, everywhere.

I can say now only maxis provide "better" upload, i'm using it now, my house can get 0.2-0.3mbps, while my office any USJ 21 can get 1mpbs upload. Max can reach 1.8mbps.
So it still depend on location. Digi wasted on thier HSUPA network.

that's why. nvr bother how each isp promote their super advanced network. consumers wont get the benefits. probably they will charge extra in future for fast upload.

Yes, that's what I meant. 200kilobits per second (kbps). I don't know of any providers in this country that provides 200-300kiloBytes per second (kB/sec)upload speed. It is still faster than Celcom(128kbps), U Mobile (57kbps) and Maxis (128kbps in certain places). I've reached over 1Mbps upload once in JB on Maxis. Where I am now, it's not more than 128kbps.

I agree, DiGi brags on HSPA but the reality provided is something else.

Maxis does a 5.72 mbps upload speed, crazy with a mere 100 mb files, only takes around 10 to 20 mins to upload!!!
I meant video to youtube.

That is fast man. By the way, what modem are you using? I have an old modem which support up to 3.5G. Not sure if it usable for maxis broadband.
