that's mean you can only use 3G phone that got UMTS or HSDPA or use USB modem like huawei to online.

you register thru where? u mobile dealer at normal handphone counter?

My experience is i bought 1 prepaid at phone counter, then he said 2-3 hrs can be use. But until 6 hrs also not activated.
First i call the CS, they said activation done by dealer, so i wait.
1 hour later i call the dealer, also said check and wait.
1 hour later again i called to CS, ask them if the the activation take so long, i think u mobile better find a good dealer or don't sell anymore.
Finally it activated within 15mins.
I said prepaid also U mobile customer, no matter prepaid or postpaid!

Keep calling CS, mention the dealer name if you have this kind of problem.

better call the place where you registered.
Last time CS told me they can't do anything if you register at handphone counter.

If you want to call CS, give them the handphone counter name, with the person in charge name to them.
Ask CS to follow up you. Don't keep waiting...
I hope you got the handphone counter contact.

Mine also register ( prepaid also need to register and activate ) at Sunday, even during the Merdeka Day! Somemore Monday also holiday.
Sunday not a reason for them to said wait until Monday.
If yes, better phone counter don't sell at Sunday!

yeah, they confused U mobile user here....using same orange color. I also thinking U mobile upgrade something at the same time...

It should HSBB by TM, using Ü for they logo.

unless you plug your modem to 3G router, which is you can set it auto connect. I'm using Aztech HW550.
Just plug my USB modem, it's ON.

i bought from Thunder Match last month, RM175.
just check their update price list, RM169.

any unlocked HSDPA usb modem will work with U mobile.
Buy HSDPA/HSUPA modem better cause if next time you want to change to maxis, digi, the HSUPA can give u better upload speed. ( But digi will not give you above 384k upload speed. ) Only maxis offer this faster upload speed, for HSPA network. ( again, still depend where is your location. )
So i suggest you buy huawei E1762.

Digi provide 200kpbs, that mean 20-30kb/s. The speedtest show 0.3mpbs upload.
I already terminate it not because of the speed, it because digi sometime ( most of the time) not able to upload to some website. Some user also complaint about on the upload issue.
Even digi said HSPA network with HSUPA uplink, but digi olny give 384k max upload, everywhere.

I can say now only maxis provide "better" upload, i'm using it now, my house can get 0.2-0.3mbps, while my office any USJ 21 can get 1mpbs upload. Max can reach 1.8mbps.
So it still depend on location. Digi wasted on thier HSUPA network.
