hey i think the brake fluid top up worked...din experience any warning lights today, even with some moderately hard braking on downhill slope! din know one small cap of fluid will solve the problem!

the goal here is i want it to look like brand new year 2010 version, which has sportier exterior, default body kit from 2010 ver perdana, headlights, front rear, etc etc.. and also the dashboard also changed to newer version, steering wheel, etc etc..


how much do you think the final amount will cost?

- btw does year 97 engine and has different than newer 2010 perdana version? please let me know if there is other different

better get those 06 year.... below 50K only..

yr 1997 - 2.0 4G63 I4 SOHC engine

yr 2010 - 2.0 6A12 V6 DOHC

U r like buying the Perdana BODY only. If u wan to mod it til like 2010 version PV6, better u go find those newer version like 2004 or newer. No need trouble u to change tis change tat. Also the engine newer & more power compare to SEi.

firstly, lets have a look at your budget.
if u are gunning for the cheapest perdana and make the exterior like newer 2008 (AFAIK after 2008 model, no more perdana) u can.
if u have bigger budget, then get the best/latest perdana u can get.

every perdana can be made to look like the newest one.
but 1997 engine (4g63p) is different from 1999-2008 engine (6a12) just like koh said.

guna OD at highway gb cepat kaput tak ?

for anyone who do not know the OD function, better to leave it ON. OD ON button pressed.

Overdrive ON will enable the gb to go up to 4th gear.
Overdrive off will limit the gb to 3rd gear only.
to travel long distance (hiway) u must set OD ON.
in speed about 115kmh, OD on rpm 3000, OD off rpm 4500 coz only on 3rd gear running.
if u leave OD off then drive laju2, afraid engine and gb too much stress..

hey sifus...i have a very noobie question here.. Will it help to reduce the car fuel consumption by pressing the AT mode button near the gearbox ?? Cos according to the car manual, the car will start from 2nd gear and shift to the 4th gear at the speed of 40 km/h if the button is pressed..

that button is for snow.
car starts in 2nd gear to reduce wheelspin.
it will consume more petrol rather than reduce it..

any idea why my v6tt got sound from dashboard when in speed above 60/80++km/h?sounds start from 80km/h if the road is not bumpy.annoying when try to speeding.anyone ever faced this problem?

sounds like 'kreeeekkk...kreeeeekkk...kreeeeeeeeeeeeek.if over 100km/h+++ the sounds will never stop+more louder unless the speed go down to 80km/h..any ideas?i think has to change to new dashboard.any recommended dashboard model?or stick to v6 dasboard?
