if there are no other symptoms, it's hard to do troubleshoot.
u may want to take the car to an experience pomen.
there are many probs that can cause this but i cant pinpoint it...

u maintain the auto gb la. gb rosak baru tukar manual.
or if u have the money, install manual gb and sell off ur auto gb la.
boleh la dapat sikit to cover the gb swap...

it's come out that the prob is not my GB..but driveshaft instead..mechanic said it already broken.. Nasiibbb..
Btw bro neuro, what do u think if i change my front absorber with standard one but left the rear with the adjustable ?

good for u actually, gearbox could cost u more.

Anyway, on my way back in Raub, i've change the front tyre bearing, its started to make aum, aum aum sound when i exceed 60km and above.

i heard ppl suggest u use oil absorber in the front and can use gas at the back for comfort. all gas absorber make u ride harsh. my back ache sumtime..

for an NA auto perdana to break the DS is rare..

i have not heard of anyone kawin standard suspension on one axle and an adjustable in the other axle.
i dont think its a good idea coz the difference (spring rate and abs pressure) is big.
it may cause ur handling jadi gila..

its either u go with standard all round or sports springs + abs all round or adjustable all round.
if u want more comfy ride with better handling than standard, get eibach sport suspension + good short stroke abs.

what adjustables u r using? what's the spring rate?

yeah..i hit a bumps n suddenly my car in N gear with roaring sound..after that even shift to D it didn't move ..
that's why i thought it my GB prob..

HWL 12k front 8k back..u had suggested me 8k b4 but 2 shops insist perdana should use 10k-14k on the front...
it's good on cornering but for a long journey,i will be really tired with the bumpy ride.. maybe i should change to 8k...just checked with KAKIMOTOR ,the said rm300 for 8k + installation .. how's the price?

i've experience 12k-8k spring rate already.
that's why i choose 8k-4k...
cornering not as good but more comfy on hiway or bumpy roads..

u take the 8k spring from rear put in front. and buy 4k spring put in the rear la..

yeah..lucky..coz my GB is the original one since 2000..that's why i thought it already kaput..

GB if already old enough just use it untill kong ler.. for suspension if there's no leaking n the spring still comfort for u,no need .But if got extra bucks ,why not .. no need to worry too much..new car also break down on the road sometimes..

gas will be a little bit harder than oil. but i think it will tahan better than oil.
if u want OEM spec abs, u can search for monroe or sapura abs.

previous owner change oil abs last year,
now feel bumpy especially through humps & pothole,
other than abs what else need to change or take note?
lower arm?? abs mounting?

if bumpy/sway too much, its ur abs.
but if ur spring are old say more than 10 years, u might wanna chage that as well.

if ur lower arm, there will be some sound of steel vs steel.
if u turn left or right, there will be "ktak ktak" sound and ur steering wont return to center.

if that so, its the spring upper rubber bushings either not fit properly (lari sikit) or already keras.

is't true that if we lowered our car like by adjustable , it will affect our driveshaft , lower arm etc ? n possibly tear up the chasis ?? sound serious..
