stayed there in October last year ..it used to be Sheraton Penang, so you can expect sheraton-ish room interior and proper facilities (Clark Hatch gym, swimming pool etc ) ..

parking is complimentary and abundance .. room service is good too

If you dont know the roads here, better dont travel by car. Taxi is always best choice. Tris-haw if you got time and like the Sun.. haha..

Hotel, depends where you want to go, if you want away from town feeling, go Batu Feringghi, alot hotels there. If you want down town, Royal Hotel is cheap. If you want up the hill, try Vistana Hotel. As there are no Ah Yat restaurants in Penang, can anyone introduce me other restaurants that are up to par with Ah Yat? Restaurants that serve nice and exquisite dishes.

Exquisite dishes. (Teluk Kumbar Seafood) Big Cheap Good, though its quite far from town.

Want near there, Bali Hai at Gurney Drive. Abit pricey, but the food is nice.

Well, there are lots of good food around, but you must know what to order in a restaurant.

All you have to do is just stand there as they prepare the food, while ordering, stand at the seafood side. Tell them "Nicely" you're not stupid, remove the water first. Just be direct.. shouldn't be a problem. I always do that.

sesame & soy at G-hotel seems the same as ah yat, as dishes are serve the same way like how ah yat was

teluk kumbar is frehs fresh, goodie, and nice view
