the exit you can't miss la. biggrin.gif seriously, seeing AutoCity is a good sign.

just that if you want ferry ride, DO NOT go towards the BRIDGE lane, it's stated by the signboard.

you have to travel towards the industrial area (Seberang Jaya there), just stop by for directions if need. you can't get lost going to Ferry, there are directions too.

prepare RM 10 for the ferry right (it's RM 7.70 to be exact..........)

reach there, just follow the line and wait for your turn to embark on the ferry. smile.gif

after driving off the ferry (once you're docked la) then up to you la, turn left to head south of the island, turn right to head north to places like Gurney Drive and other northern coastal areas.

I am very sure you can get it from Air itam (beside the very small market) they do sell halal tau sar pheah, perhaps you can try to hit it at penang road...chowrasta market - stores off penang road selling local products.

good luck!

Go along Tanjung Tokong, look out for a Petronas/Shell (sorry can't remember which one) petrol station on yr right, nearby that station there's a tau sar pheah shop which is halal

Or may be Dragonball biscuit shop. They could be Halal

Hi guys. Any suggestions on hotels/resorts along the stretch of batu feringghi?

I did some survey online and found that Golden Sands its the best among all.

Is it worth the price?

wat is the 2nd best after Golden Sands?

thanks!

There's renovation going on in Golden Sand now, so the room rate offered might be cheaper. Next to Golden Sand is Rasa Sayang, also one of the best. Both are under the same company anyway.

Park Royal also not bad.

Don't go to Sri Sayang Apartment. Nothing like what you see from their web. The place is old and run down, plus major renovation next to it right now. Read this recent complaint: http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g2983...ghi-Penang.html

Eden Fairway is a better choice. http://www.penangguesthouse.com
