This is where people would make the mistakes when using ZiPhone. It won't downgrade the bootloader IF u choose the Advance Pref. Since most users are noob ... the only thing they see is "Do It All" button. So shinny and pretty ... clicking on it without knowing what happen. Most noob oso won't go to the advance pref since it says ... Advance. If u have the chance ... look into ZiPhone codes and the GUI. The dreaded "Do It All" uses the ziphone -Z option. Thats why i recommend to use eZiPhone. But it up to others preferences on which tools to use. Its ur phone and ur responsible for it.

Mana ada Apple Store in KL. BTW u can't buy the ipod power adapter as they r not the same. Rupa sama tapi tak serupa. If u use it ... u'll end up with a dead phone.

First things first, I am not posting this for the sake of an argument. I'm only posting this for a discussion to clear whether if the ipod and iphone batteries are the same or diff.

all ipod and iphone batteries are 3.7V and will charge on 100-240V even down to the first gen ipods...
i bought a ipod charger for my nano before i got my iphone.. the charger is both the same..

its written iPod USB Power Adapter. the input and output are all the same... same ampere, and voltage which is 5V and 1A

Even if u wanna buy a new power adapter from Apple Store its universal. Apple designed it to be universal. For those of you who don't believe, just take a look at your "Apple iPhone Power Adapter". Read the bottom label and see what it says.

If its an Apple USB power adapter then I believe its fine.
You only have to worry about some car chargers and those 3rd party adapters. Reason being their voltage and ampere might differ therefore making it only charge your ipod and not your iphone.

That is just my own 2 cents and my research around. No punt intended to anyone out there. Cause I dun believe that there is any differences in the power adapter.

If anyone can present me with proof and schematics that the battery for the ipod and iphone are different then i will change my beliefs.

A friend of mine will have her friend to bring an Iphone back from US for her... but she asked me where can she get the phone unlocked and i can't ask her to DIY, knowing that she isn't tech-savvy enough to do that (she is very blur when it comes to all these) haha.... so does anyone here know which places in KL that offers unlocking services and what would the fees be? i can't help her since i am in Australia while she is in KL.... thanks in advance...

U download iPlus 2.0 or 2.0b?

Payload is a collection of program to install automatically when iPlus do the jailbreak and activate so u no need to install those apps listed in the payload. If u want to use Cydia's Telesphoreo rather than BSD then u have to delete the original payload.zip or international payload.zip and replace the cydia payload. Rename it to payload.zip. Try to google for it ... i oso donno where to get.

mmm...just read bout the payload at hackthatphone site. so these are the contents it stated:
Cydia and Telesphoreo (instead of BSD Subsystem), Installer, Community Sources, Fake BSD Subsystem (to allow Installer packages that require BSD to install), OpenSSH, SummerBoard themes directory fix, and Term-vt100

Giving up on installing customize already. Really get on my nerves.

earlier version of ziphone 2.5 actually did downgrade the BL to 3.9.

Mine was 113otb 4.5BL BB04.02.02G, the restored to 114, then used ziphone 2.5... though my BL is downgaded to 3.9 and time being, it can't be reversed to 4.6, I still adores my phone....

not too sure about new ziphone will downgrade the BL.

is there anyone have been try the chinese input already?
is it stable?
