5.3Flight Change: Once a booking number has been issued, flight changes are subject to the following terms:

Inside of forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time, no changes are allowed. The charges for flight change outside of forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time are provided for in the fee schedule, subject to the following conditions:

if a lower fare is available, the difference in fares will not be refunded to the passenger;
if the new flight booked is in a higher fare class than that of the cancelled booked flight, the difference in fares shall be paid by the passenger before the cancellation or change can be made;
the change is not confirmed until we issue you a new Itinerary and/or booking number.
changes on route(s) are not allowed.

5.4Promotional Fares: Article 5.3 regarding Flight Change rules and Article 5.5 regarding Name Change do not apply to certain selected promotional fares.

5.5Name Change: Once a booking number has been issued, name changes are subject to the following terms:

Provided that the request is made outside of six (6) hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time and the original as well as the substituted passengers' identities are authenticated, you are allowed to substitute the passenger named in the confirmed booking with another passenger subject to payment of a charge as provided for in the fee schedule.

Got a question regarding airasia.. If i book my flight ticket now then suddenly got change of plan can i change my ticket itenary? anyone got xp change beforE?

i got one q, my fren wan to book the ticket going to bangkok. but he has not got his passport yet..so can leave it blank when do the booking? will it be troublesome when doing check in?

OK... just found out. The name change only can be done if u r book on normal fare, which promo fare can't.

Change of route/destination is impossible.

Chang of date is possible, with additional charges.... i just some of my flights to catch-up for new flight to Tianjin....

Initially Miri -> KL -> Guangzhou. Now moved guangzhou to other date. Become Miri -> KL -> Tianjin... but the Miri->KL time need to change. Paid RM75 /pax

is the booking online now does not require IC? soo weird.. they just identify thru name??

i just change online by myself. but only member of airasia can do that, which mean u had sign up as a airasa member. log in and got to your account, then click on "change" then u can adjuct whatever u want. once you have made the payment, that's mean your ticket is confrimed changed.
