Lol.. OT abit.. Did u know that actually there were another secret skirmish in C&C3? But with the rules of u gotta complete both GDI & NOD skirmish with hard level then u can unlock it. Anyways, is a good game! Mind training type.

By then.. Im running at the same resolution as u. But just i run all at ultra high details. Abit torture for the GC i guess. Oh yea.. How do u cap the fps during gaming? Last time i was using ATI tools but now change to nvidia card wander what software can be use to cap the fps.

Have u play C&C3 before with ur rigs? Lol.. I tested the method that u suggest just now. Ultra high setting with 1024*768 reso.. Seems like the lagness is gone. Seems like is the GC problem..

Gosh.. S3!! Nearly forgot this card. Actually my 1st GC wasnt TNT but S3/2D Trio! Haha.. Still remeber it. The card still alive in my uncle pc.

Bro, doesnt means on the pc 24/7 then need to have high watt PSU. A 450W will do as well. Just the component inside ur rigs that count on the power usage.

@fylon,else u can use also Fraps.Just on the program when u play game.If you want to use higher resolution then you might need to get a more powerful GC.1024*768 can play with ultra high is not bad on your 76GT.

Hm.. Ultra setting for C&C3 suppose to be ok. Try UT3 then u will know what the pain is. Haha.. Mine, i can run with full texture details but world detail on can take 3 out of 5 the maximum.. 4 is playable but will cause u die fast when in shooting mode. Then 5? Dont need say..

Tecom brand? I havent heard about it b4 though..Better ask the sifu's in Lowyat or use uncle Google : www.google.com

Haha.. TECOM? Gosh man..That more worse the iCute FYI. iCute atleast can let me clock my previous 3.0E til 3.6Ghz before it explode and cause my mobo & proc dead.. The TECOM are only written 500W, actually continues output might only 3xxWatt only. Bro, i suggest u, if u got the $$, hamtam for ST400. Worth ur money.

i also saw the enermax fma II 460W selling for rm199 in all it when i bought my st400 (rm169)... wanted to buy tat one, it has 2 fans, 3 yrs warranty and plenty of stock ^^

but err, since sifus here recommend me silverstone, so i better stick to it

Lol.. Enermax FMA II was a good kit. But well.. Price vs Performance, i think ST400 take the lead. Thats why most of the time, i will suggest go for ST400.

so your sweet spot would be 1024 x 768 in cnc3 ultra all with 4xAA, same as my rig. higher resolution not that smooth anymore.

like fylon says, 24/7 does not mean you need high power PSU. Simple scenario, a wooden hut that can only fit 2 person, if you squeeze 3 more persons, the wooden hut might collapse and killing the people inside along with it. Same goes for the PSU case, if it cannot feed enough juice to your components, possibility of frying your components along with the PSU is possible. 24/7 rig requires a PSU that can provide stable power instead of high wattage.

waa...... C&C3 @ 1024*768 all ultra setting with 4xAA butter smooth i think mine only manage to get there without the 4xAA i think. maybe worse.

I think this psu for normal and slightly overclocking is still fine.Quite a good & reliable psu.

Fraps i dun have the *ahem one and i couldn't record down the game played. But i notice in the game mine is always getting 28-30FPS in gaming.In crowd,i have forgotten already.Next time need to notice and see.

9500 can't expect so much.Forget about 4XAA.

iskk ... i've decided to install new windows to my Sata hdd ... but when it comes to install gc driver, the problem strike again ... i dunno what is the problem .. when i remove ati driver through safe mode and restart again, then can view windows like normal but of coz no ati display drive la ... is it the driver problem?

yes, flashed to 600/1600, oc'ed from 500/1450

Added on February 29, 2008, 10:41 amhave you tried older drivers? what is your exact issue actually? i have faced few times on nvidia cards that installing the windows is fine, safe mode is fine but when it comes to initiating the drivers for it, it will blank screen and hang. this is due to the GPU issue, and has sent the card for warranty.

can 1. just change 1950pro or 79gs will do. XD

maybe you can try older driver or 3rd party. just try. whats your previous card?? nvidia?? suspecting previous driver not completely removed.

after finish installing windows ... screen can view windows but when i'm installing display driver using the cd given for tha gc .. after restart ... screen can't view windows but th screen showing like tv habis siaran .... so i removed the driver through safe mode and keep trying installing the driver but still didn't work ...

@kabu,i guess your 7300GT should be able to play smooth in 1280*1024 resolution display. Open 4XAA ? erm...i'm not that confident it can play smooth.
