ya....is running 2 sp2004.....
havent try orthos... will try later.. wink.gif
my GC ar....i also thought it will on par 76GT....
i want to OC it....but not sure the safe point....

when using ATI tools, or riva tuner...after we OC it, if we din run the software at startup it will reset bec to default?
*
yes,the o/c speed will back to default if you don't run the software with the profile you set during start up. Frankly speaking,ATI cards are not really good in overclocking. whistling.gif

@ray
haha....wat do you mean not good in overclocking?
heat? or core is fixed?or the capability to clock? biggrin.gif

@hero
tuniq tower 120....hehehehe....
*
Of course is the capability to o/c. Heat is the common enemy for o/c even for all hardwares.

yesterday i played COD4.That was damn bad, doh.gif my GC is totally unplayable at 4fps in the 2nd mission in jungle enviromenent. vmad.gif The minimum requirement for the gc of this game should be at least Geforce 6 series or X800. My GC is totally out of minimum specs.

@edmin,yup the shader that the game need is 3.0. 2.0 sharder cards will be suffering in the game.Advice to those who is using shader 2.0 cards,no need to waste time to play the game.

@herojack41,your 9550 is using passive cooling. Maybe you can add a fan on it to cool down the chip.

@fylon,last time i've missed up the 6800 selling in garage. laugh.gif I've never think that the COD4 needs SM3.0 to support.ATI tool auto searching for max core and max mem are fake. These features are unless and will cause hanged when clocks going too high.Don't use this feature but o/c manaully.

@fylon,4GHz club is welcoming you. laugh.gif I guess beyond 1.55v is not really recoomended unless using water cooling. Running at 3.8 or 3.9GHz for daily gaming is just more than enough.No need to over stress the whole system.What's the timing you are using in 4GHz ?

I think might be the processor throttle inside over heat at 4GHz? THus the proc is running with some empty instruction to cool down itself?Another suspective point is the NB,not enough juice to process the 4GHz speeD?

@fylon,guess maybe your NB is causing the instable issue. What to wait?Get another NB cooler to chill down it if you really planning to run on that voltage. sweat.gif

fylon,good casing provides good air flow inside. Go ahead.The Blue Ice 2 is a nice grab to cool down your NB.
