All female joeys would have pouches already. The right age is not indicated by the pouch, is indicated by size and fluffiness of their tails.

Come along for the gathering lah, I'm sure it would poison more people into getting gliders but then at the same time we get to educate people on the general care.

Marmosets are not good pets. Any primate makes bad pets coz to me, they are too human like. And during breeding season, their hormone levels go crazy, making them aggressive sometimes. I saw this when I working at the zoo.

still underage joey la

already contact the seller, he said he would not sell the other underage joey..
he oso said he can nurse Nyara until fullage for free or return my money..
but i denied la, i want to nurse it my self...
and he ask me to go with him to pet shack to get slurp and suggie milk to nurse the underage joey..
but after i check my money in bank, only have rm16..
so pokai right now, so need to wait until i get my gaji..
but he need to go to outstation pulak..
so ask he to go pet shack next monday..

Tell your seller if he doesn't know the age of the joey and he doesn't know how to see, then he's contradicting himself by stating that he does not sell underaged joeys. If your joey looks like that, it is underage and he cannot deny it.

reanne, from what i understand is the seller sold an underaged joey to thejamz and doesnt want to sell the other joeys he have coz they are underaged..

I think what thejamz is trying to say is that after he explained to the seller, the seller now knows and promises not to let the other joeys go before they are of the proper age.

I guess the seller didn't even know it was underage. This is typical with commercial breeders and also middleman sellers. They can't really tell their age, only agak agak. But most of us here, we can agak the age also but we do it more accurate coz we can tell the difference between underage and the right age. Like Pet Safari, all the joeys there are underage, all around 1 month OOP only..... no fluffy tail. All thin rat tails.

he said the breeder he get the joeys tell him that, the joeys is 7 weeks..

im new here..but i own a pair gliders since july last year...few days ago i found my gaby(my girl) has a twin in her pocket ...very excited now...but both of them are still happy playing with me outside their cage...Should i limit her time out? ...since she's carrying a twin?...another thing where is pet shack?...and did some one mention about a gathering soon?
