Yes, most gliders like dried fruits. Good as treats for them during play and bonding.

Anyway, we mostly count their age when they start to OOP like what Bonai just replied.

The joey may be stunted in growth if the breeder did not give proper healthy food to the adults, or the joey was separated too early, maybe earlier than 6 weeks OOP.... so the body size is small and fragile. But then like what Reanne and the others would say, pictures are better.

Is the tail fluffy or smooth?

2 weeks oop is still underaged. A week to 10 days oop their eyes will start to open. So we can estimate your joey is around more than 10 days oop.

yes, yours probably not 2 weeks since it has already opened it's eyes.. but still 4-6 weeks is considered underaged lor..

Their tails only fluff after 40+ days oop. If it's not fluffly can say your joey may be in between a week oop to 40 days oop since we don't have pictures. Can estimate more accurately after viewing the pics.

Also, if the breeder had not given enough nutrition to the parents, it can result in smaller and malnourished offspring, hence could explain the size.

Bird cage can be cheaper and sturdier than Flexarium, plus a cage is easier to handle as in to open for feeding or taking out the suggie cuz a Flexarium you need to zip open and zip close a huge part just for feeding time.

YES, the joeys at PS are seriously under aged.

Young ones can seem tame because they don't have much knowledge or energy to wonder about.

Joeys at that age cannot glide yet.

All joeys will only learn how to glide after 7-8 weeks WITH guidance from their parents. Without parents they will need to learn by themselves or with help by humans and that will take time.

They fall out of jumping, not gliding cuz they don't know how to glide yet.

Who took them away at such young tender age?

On average it's after 2 weeks Out Of Pouch, but some as young as 1 week.

Under aged joeys CAN survive with proper care from humans, BUT they will not survive as long as their average lifespan should be. Research has shown that most under aged joeys will survive up to 2 -3 years only. This is because they did not get the sufficient nutrient and antibody they require from their mother's milk when they are young.

Hrm.. very interesting shop at ikano.. they are actually SELLING MARMOSETS THERE ALREADY! OMG! isn't that like near to extinction? Rm 5k plus for each.. crazy cheap! considering Aquaria got their 1st pair of marmoset for Rm 15k each.. LoL =P
