I know but the problem is i don't know whether my account is collateral acc or cash upfront acc.

u mean u transfer the money from ur savings acc to ur trading acc? It takes 1 working day to transfer the money to ur trading acc.

the brokerage rate for cash upfront acc is 0.1%, minimum RM8 while collateralised acc is 0.8% minimum RM12. (if my memory doesn't fail me)

yes, you need to complete the settlement for them to proceed. 7pm is quite late already, you can call them and ask them to update your account as you have just transferred an amount of money to your trading account. 15 mins for them to update your trading balance after you have made the call.

of course, this is a standard procedure for me when I make settlement.

dont think this function is available but KLSE screener does have a function to alert you when a stock reaches a certain price
