need help from current users. would there be any reasons for me to go back and forth to hle broking office? coz i'm planning to go with hle broking instead of mbb trading but nearest branch would be in KL.
opening an acc can be done online but i'm taking into consideration the location of nearest branch if that would make any sense to consider. |

Really ? You can just open a proper trading account online ?opening an acc can be done online but i'm taking into consideration the location of nearest branch if that would make any sense to consider. FYI , a proper trading account should have 3 types of account. A CDS account, a trust account and a eTrading account. 1) A CDS account , this is your account to keep your shares. The owner is BURSA MALAYSIA. 2) A trading/trust account , this is your account to keep your money for settlement of shares. The owner is INVESTMENT BANK. 3) A eTrading account , this account is to facilitate trading over internet. You need not call your remisier/dealer to place orders. It will come with a user ID and a password. Probably, you only can do item 3 over internet. This post has been edited by sahamniaga: Dec 12 2015, 06:00 PM |

On another note, has anyone requested for lower transaction fees from Hong Leong bank?
Do they judge by your fees incurred annually or the amount held with them? |

QUOTE(ashx @ Feb 4 2016, 08:53 PM) No need la.Actually when I opened my account, it was quite easy. I filled up the electronic form and few days later, I received a call from HLEB. She told me that they will send a parcel full of documents to be signed, which has to be submitted by hand once I completed it. Thats all. |

HLebroking is parked under HL bank or HL investment bank? Both website showing they are offering HLebroking services 2. For beginner and lower trading limit, Im suppose to sign up Valuetrade account rite? Thank you in advance. |

Hi guys, need some assistance here.
I currently hold some Berkshire Hathaway shares and would like to attend their AGM. My current broker is Hong Leong Bank. I've called and asked if they're able to get me the meeting credentials but they seem to be unable to help. Has anyone received annual reports from foreign companies they invested in before? Thank you |

Also, I think it goes thru UOB Singapore, so, it well be a case of "nominee of nominee". |
