Thanks for the reply.

2. I tried to search for the contract note under My Account -> Transactions -> Contracts, but nothing came up. What does that mean? try check ur email inbox

3. As far as I understand, force selling will only occur if you do not have enough funds to settle your due contracts on the due date itself. How does this link to a settlement instruction? Isn't settlement instruction serve like a notice to tell the bank that you have transferred funds into the trust account? no idea

4. I just made a direct transfer via Maybank2u and it is already pass cut off time. Does this mean that I can only see my funds tomorrow morning? yes. usually will be the next day

5. I assume that funds will be auto debited from my trust account after T+3 days and nothing needs to be done from my side provided that I have enough funds in my trust account? no idea

I am really sorry guys, I am very much a newbie here. Thank you for the patience in answering my questions.

Im not sure about the procedure.
I have a direct CDS account and I went to the branch in First Avenue.
They will need your IC and some bank statements.
I Im not mistaken, you need to be physically present to apply for the account.

*
i second the above.

call the number, they will send a dealer to ur location to sign the form and collect ur IC and rm10.

but have to remind you that dealer is not aggressive as remisier during ur trading

they charge RM10? blink.gif

when i registered it was free of charge.

Hi,

I would like to open up an account with HLeBroking.
If there is a remisier/broker here, I would like to clarify a few things before opening an account.

Is the commission 0.1%?
Because this is the main concern why I chose HLeBroking.

Do I have to visit a branch or a broker will meet us outside to open up an account?
*
that 0.1% is brokerage fee. minimum RM8 plus contract stamp plus clearing fee plus GST.

visit branch if possible. can get to know your dealer.

Hi guys,

Currently using Jupiter but contemplating to move...some noob questions here:

1. HLeB Trust deposit...whole balance entitled to interest of 2.6%? Or tiered? should be whole.
2. Using ExcelForce, means it's the same as Jupiter? yes. i also have jupiter but never trade before. same UI.
3. Anyone have experience transferring their shares from CDS with another broker to HLeB? Free? can't answer you.

Please advise, thanks! notworthy.gif

im new to share trading.

after comparing HLebroking and CIMB trader, seems like more people are using HLebroking

but i have a few questions and hope someone could help and clear my doubt.

1. HLebroking is parked under HL bank or HL investment bank? Both website showing they are offering HLebroking services

2. For beginner and lower trading limit, Im suppose to sign up Valuetrade account rite?

Thank you in advance.

1. under HL investment bank which is a subsidiary of HL group. hmm.gif

2. yes. usually 50k limit.

TTDI branch no more. Already moved to Bukit Damansara.

Power is nominee account. Fees is higher 0.42% min RM40 (unless they change it) but the shares you settled can be used as margins to contra stocks. Value trade is cash account, much cheaper rate 0.1% min RM8 but cash upfront. Need cds account.
*
the cash account is technically a CDS account right not nominee where the broker holds your share on behalf.
