well... i was always very happy with izzi when i got it...till the recent 2 months... izzi have been terrible... i am using izzi pro and i have 100% signal strength.... but in the recent 2 months..they have been really really slow and unstable.... a lot of problems are arising and they are not handling it fast enough...

i already called Izzi customer service for 2 months... and only after 2 months , they came to my house...run a speed test and signal strength test and ping test . they found that its very unstable especially the ping test , having many request time outs ... They replied with ' Ini kita pun tak boleh tolong ' ... I thought they would continue to pursue the problem... sadly... they didnt and they close case... now i gotta open a new report with them again... i mean , is this what u call customer service? when ping result clearly shows the line is unstable even with their own laptop?

So , dont just see how fast ur internet is when they come over and test... i thought the line was OK... but it really arent...

ps : i gotta report in to MCMC now to handle the report... this is getting really bad

yeah started last week the line is not stable already... although the speed test showing a reasonable speed but the line is not stable... the download rate was up and down...using the dial up probably is even better than this...gosh...why malaysia can't get a good speed just like US or UK or Australia...

few day ago when i come back...the izzi is totally down..cannot connect.
after few time i restart it...problem still same...i think is bs down.then i off it after 2 hour...around 3am i run the speed test, i got truely 1mbps...so happy..
but when 4am...going down back to 500kpbs..then nxt day..the problem still same ...

so i think is bcoz of bs juz down and recover back..so no one connect to the izzi, so the speed very fast...then nxt the all user connected again...

at least this can approve that not bcoz of my area signal, not a pc system problem and as long not bcoz of using router, so wat all the answer from CUSTOMER SERVICE is no user...so no need call again...

only can help is upgrade the bs , build more bs if the area got lot of user ...but they fail to do that

adamw...i'll will think about it....but really dun like to get back to the Streamyx lar...some more already confirm tat P1 wimax already block the BT totally from the starting...

Hopefully end of the year izzi can improve the services

I've been using iZZinet about 4 months already. So far, I always get full 1Mbps and when downloading files from torrent, I can reach till 120KB/s.
I'm living in Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park. Maybe here got nobody using iZZinet..
Ain't there anyone out there who always get 1Mbps consistently? I always heard many complains here..

Bump !

So far, I had accustomed to Izzi service, and I am glad to say that " I am satisfied with it ", although sometime Izzi do had downtime and lousy speeds.

Plus, today I log in into my Izzi account, and I just discovered that after 1 week i start using Izzi, a month free subsciption had been "given" to me by I-dono-who person. Eric, what happen ? Haha.

Yet, I am considering to terminate Izzi soon. Will ask the customer service whether I can temporally "pause" my account...

Guys,
Here's a tip for you guys who are using iZZi..

If you are having a LAN adapter and are not planning to use it, disable it on your network connection or on your hardware properties. This can solve the slow boot when starting your pc. I guess it's because there's a conflict between your USB iZZi connection and other LAN connection.

sungai buloh got 1.2mbps, gf place in sunway got 1mbps, bangsar fren house got 1.2mbps. Those are the places that i have tried constantly around 1mbps.

But my torrent can only max up to 120kbps at night. Zzz. Day time normal and ftp is at mediocre speed. I got 3 units. 1 dl 24/7, 1 for family, 1 for gaming.

Even if you disable lan port no difference.
Go to Run > msconfig > Under Startup tab > disable izzi startup stuff
