I just bought Izziyou from Eric ( Anodize ). A great guy with a great service ! Wouldn't hesitate to lend a helping hand if you need to.

Even though I am impressed with the "customer" service by Eric, I wasn't impressed by the speed. So far the speed is like this at 9pm. Signal 100%

I live at Prisma Perdana, Taman Midah, Cheras. Hope that this speed is because of peak hours. Pray Pray and boh bi boh bi that at midnight the speed will rocket up high like crazy !! Haha !!

EDIT : Without any download you know !

Thank you for the compliment... however, speedtest is never accurate. It doesn't matter if its a local speedtest or other hosts. The best way to test is to try downloading some stuff.  The other day when i tested at your area, the speed there was about 400kbps while the signal very unstable. I'll try to check for you again if there is anything wrong with the tower near there.
*
Well. with that antenna, the signal is quite stable at above 90% lo, but speed wise making me pening leh. cry.gif Haih. Does that mean that my area punya tower is congested with user ? rclxub.gif Hope you can find something out... rclxms.gif

I try downloading something lo, like Megaupload is around 10KBps, Xunlei crash with bluescreen 4 times( I wonder why even though I updated to the laest version), and Deluge under 10KBps. But at one particular half hour, I use Orbit to download a FTP file can reach 50KBps??? Haha. And based on experience, I would have to say that browsing internet is quite crappy 50% of the time.

Thanks ar brother. thumbup.gif Attached Image Attached Image

Bro, I've check with them that your area is covering a few places thus your speed is not constant. However, I will ask them to check again. When the signal is weak, you are getting signal from Mines.  blink.gif . However, if you don't mind, can you call up the customer service tomorrow and let me know what they tell you. If not, i will try to ask again on friday.
Genting Klang is very congested by college people. Thats why its very slow.
*
Mines ? Mines resort ? Walao. Ok, tomorrow call them. Now is a bit stressed out & depressed already. Exam + Izzi = cry.gif

Don't worry. They are acquiring another tower in sunway. When the tower is up, sunway would not be that congested
Alvis, focus on your exams first. you wouldn't want to fail your doctorate.
*
Haha. Is not doctorate la... blush.gif

If only if this is the case

Is it currently IZZi throttle p2p? like BT ? because like incredibly slow (<3KB) even though normal youtube video download can reach 20KB. Any way of port forward, encryption can be done to bypass that?

EDIT: Suddenly speed test show like this at 6.00pm drool.gif
Attached Image user posted image

What happened ? Does the rain "clean" the tower?

Anyway, I still decided to give the customer service a call nod.gif , in case this miracle only persists for half hour. At first they tell me speed slow is because many user la, weather bad la, and they tell me to wait & observe. Hello? When i asked them wehre is the neraest tower, they don't wan tell.

And they gave me some IP & DNS. I waste 5 calls to them, because some fellow told me to put these in Izzi dialer properties.

Then, i get error (TCP/IP being rejected) blink.gif , and then i do a clean install of the driver & get error again (Username password invalid) blink.gif . So, more calls were made, and finally, it resolved. The IP & DNS should be put under the unidentified network properties. Guess there are some qualities differences in their technician heh?

Will open BT now and see if this improve. Will take a nap now and see what happen later.

EDIT 2: I just realize that the izzi speed test got play busuk. If at the start of testing you get 300kbps, and then the speed increase as the test goes by, with finally the test ends with 700kbps. And the test took the highest speed & show it as result. Play busuk heh?

If you use Izzinet and the average speed is lower than 500kbps, I don't think it's worth to subscribe it. I'm lucky my place, Izzinet average speed is always above 900kbps.
*
Wah, you have unbeatable speed, where do you live ??

Bro, I am sorry to say that it is very congested at vista komanwel. Yes you can get 100% coverage. but when its too congested, the speed would be slow. However, there is a base station that is gonna be up soon somewhere near bukit jalil area [/I]as you can see in the coverage map. You should've do a testrun at your area before purchase to avoid dissapointment.
*
Oh, I just realized the "function" of the coverage map...

Just wanna make you guys jealous again. I downloaded only 1 video and I can get the speed of 99KB/s!!

If many videos usually can reach till 120KB/s.. lol
*
Do you want to wake up with chili in your mouth tomorrow ??? Haha. laugh.gif

Usually I only get 20-50KB for 2 torrents every midnight, sometime when lucky can reach 60-70KB lo. I don't know why but recently the speed can be quite fast during raining. No speed luck during peak hours though. nod.gif

Just found out from Izzi website that they will be doing a roadshow next Monday and Tuesday at my apartment's food court ! shocking.gif

Gosh, like this means that the already saturated area will become super-saturated. Congestion. Traffic. Jam. Tepu. WHat-ever... shakehead.gif

Aduhai, seriously....

Bump !

So far, I had accustomed to Izzi service, and I am glad to say that " I am satisfied with it ", although sometime Izzi do had downtime and lousy speeds.

Plus, today I log in into my Izzi account, and I just discovered that after 1 week i start using Izzi, a month free subsciption had been "given" to me by I-dono-who person. Eric, what happen ? Haha.

Yet, I am considering to terminate Izzi soon. Will ask the customer service whether I can temporally "pause" my account...

I've been using iZZinet about 4 months already. So far, I always get full 1Mbps and when downloading files from torrent, I can reach till 120KB/s.

Oh, I am having half of yours, ranging from 40KB to max 70KB, and I am satisfied. biggrin.gif

I can see that the connection is getting better in the Hulu Klang area, especially at Zoo Negara. No frequent disconnection but not that stable though. Anyway the connection's improving day by day.

Hope your miracle also occurs here as well....
