if people think that i'm a decoy, u're definitely wrong.. i have no connection with iZZi, other than the user position of course.. yeah, may be i'm just a lite user as vail said.. i'm putting msgs here just to share and raise my concern, and updating based on what i've experienced.. - if other people want to know.. btw, i've once 'my blood go upstairs' with iZZi support too, u know.. hahaha.. that time, my terminal was OUT.. huhuhu. and i had to on and off a few times to their office just to get the replacement unit.. haiyya, so annoying coz i have to take leave from office just becoz of that.. thank God that when it's OUT, it still under warranty and i don't have to pay anything.. hihihi

waaa.. capping issue.. honto desu ka? no wonder.. huhuh.. i do dld, sometimes.. hehehe.. but not that big2 files.. and i admit that there's different speed on different time.. before midnite and early in the morning esp. but, i thought it's just becoz of the provider of the dld link eg like mu or mf.. coz my frens using other ISP also sometimes having the same situation as mine..

In iZZi agreement, they din mention about capping out internet speed... And now they are doing... CAN WE SUE THEM!!! I am very frustrated dy... Don know how many months they are doing this??

Neh you wont win against them, Theres lots bullsh*t in the T&A that they can use against us.

Anyone experienced downtime around 3am?

My iZZi signal turn to red, I dont know when its back up but i went to sleep at 6am after 3 hours waiting T_T.

There isnt any Network Maintenance in my area at izzi site. izzi getting crappier.

yes vail !!! i was awake at that time and suddenly 0% signal and there are no planned maintenance at/near my area too ..

after an hour or so, the signal came back but it was very very weak , nothing more than 40% which means crap.

however, this morning at about 8am i think the line came back stable as my downloads are going pretty much at full speed ...

ah well, my izzi subscription left 60 days. Im not going to continue with it if it doesnt improve :s.

I need to find another ISP ~_~

Yes vail, me too. So frustrated because I was disconnected from my online game. Crap. And I waited the whole day till 2am and then suddenly Izzi cannot connect at 3am ? sigh...

There was no network maintainance at my area as well. Well, judging from here, maybe there was a downtime affecting all Izzi yesterday.

The daily throttle thing drives me nuts... Haha

I having the 3am dc problem also.... Morning at 8am i woke up the light is still red... Wat happen??

Their technician went to perv mode and wanted to take the bandwidth them selfs so they shut off other antenna and started download prawns.


2am, my connection uncapped liao. Time to download stuff ~_~. And the caps start around 6am not 7am as ive said before.

2.8 iZZinet provides a contended and best-effort basis mobile broadband access to its subscribers. Contended service means the service is shared by multiple-users at any one time at a given coverage area. Best-effort means iZZinet will uphold its service provision to users at best effort but shall not be held as a guarantee with regards to service coverage, performance, quality of service etc. While iZZinet does not block or cut off P2P (Peer-to-Peer) activities, it employs a Fair Usage Policy to ensure fair allocation of bandwidth usage to its customers.



2.9 Fair Usage Policy



2.9.1 Each subscriber is allocated a Usage Limit of up to 23GB per month (up to 30-days basis; a different Usage Limit applies to different package) which is averaged out to approximately 750MB Total-Usage-Per-Day (TUPD). Total Usage shall mean the accumulation of both Download and Upload bandwidth used. Subscribers will enjoy un-throttled speed daily until the daily TUPD is reached where thereafter the access speed will be throttled to allocate the bandwidth to other subscribers. The TUPD will be re-set daily at 6am so that subscribers can continue to enjoy normal speed every day till TUPD is reached.



2.9.2 As iZZinet aims for optimum subscriber usage satisfaction, the TUPD only accumulates a subscriber’s usage between the time 6am – 2am ie the 750MB TUPD is applicable between 6am-2am only and usage after 2am until 6am doesn’t contribute to the TUPD and remains un-throttled.



2.9.3 Upon reaching the TUPD, a subscriber’s access will be throttled to 128kbps for both Download and Upload. The balance bandwidth will be allocated to other subscribers as per the Fair Usage Policy. This means a subscriber can still access normal browsing and surfing at a lower speed and not having the access denied. Above conditions 2.9.1 – 2.9.3 apply to all packages on speed up to 1Mbps.



2.9.4 As for 512kbps packages, subscribers are allocated a Total Usage Limit of 10GB per month. The Total Usage Limit encompasses total download and upload used from 1st day to last day of a calendar month or when the Total Usage Limit is reached whichever comes first. The Total Usage Limit will be re-set only on the 1st day of the every calendar month. Once a subscriber has reached the Total Usage Limit of 10MB at any time before the last day of the month, the bandwidth usage priority will be allocated to other subscribers and the affected subscriber’s access will be throttled to 128kbps for both download and upload.
