Well, when does my area will have a new base station up?

Anyone living near taman midah ? Speed ok ? My speed here is horrible. 200kbps.

It's been 6 months already i'm using izzinet. So far, the connection is great, the download speed is superb.

My location: Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park

I have been using Izzi for one year plus... recently i'm experienced slow connection during day time and night time. But after around 2am.. the speed seems to be improve... what's going on???
Izzi don't expect their user to online during 2am in the midnight, aren't you?

Yeah,it happens 2 me 2. Frm 8am-1.59am(the next day) the line is less than 100kbps but frm 2am-7.59am it back to normal 1xxxkbps. Been 2 weeks already. Now to read newspaper also no mood, internet sooooo slow.
Now all my downloads hv to take time in this 5 hr slot. I'm becoming a nocturnal already. It's bad as i am still a student. 

Btw, where is the nearest  izzi tower near my area? I stay in klang(jalan kapar).
which area r u frm? Right now i'm so frustrated 

how's the connection in Old Klang Road??
any throttling done by izzi so far?
if let's say i have 2 desktop and 2 laptops wanna go online at the same time, which package is the best for me eh??

i plan to subscribe for izzi one plan for 1 year & by credit card installment... i do not prefer izzi wi or izzi pro becoz monthly i need to pay more monthly for the device... speed for all packages are the same right, 1mbps ??

i prefer to buy separate wireless (or wired) router (PCMCIA), so i can plug the izzi one pcmcia card into the router.....plus if i'm on the move, i can plug out the pcmcia card from the router i plug in to my laptop...

at least i know i'm paying only rm66/month for 1mbps broadband for twelve month (13th month free summore)...hehe

anyone have the idea of how much the pcmcia router cost (both wired and wireless) ?

my idea is to use izzione like in this diagram...using the izzione pcmcia interface straight to the router...not ethernet port..



why i dont prefer izzi pro or izzi wi becoz i must fork out rm118 or rm128 respectively each month and i'm getting the same speed as izzi one which i can get rm66/month (for the first 12 + 1 months...which i think a good price for 1mbps broadband)... i prefer to buy a router with PCMCIA so that if i decide not to continue using izzi after a year, so the router can still be usefull...rather than izzi pro & izzi wi, if i decide not to continue with izzi, both of them useless already...

this weekend i'll survey first the price for that pcmcia router.... i dont know if any compatible issue....but i guess it can work becoz as long as the it is a pcmcia interface it should be no problem regardless it is 3G technology (3G pcmcia data card) or iburst technology (izzi one pcmcia card)....

hmmm.. as for rm88 after 13 months, it's not an issue...

its always better rm66 for 12+1 months & afterwards rm88 THAN rm128 for 12+1 months & afterwards rm88...

speedwise, it is the same....just the device..which i prefer to find and buy a pcmcia wireless (or wired) router.... as i said earlier, if i'm not interested anymore after 13 months, at least i'm only paid rm66/month during that period (which i think is a good deal since it's 1 Mbps) rather than izziwi (rm128/month) or izzipro (rm118/month)....
so..the conclusion is, anyone know where to find this kind of router (PCMCIA)... ??

then might as well not but lor.. so everyone just go subscribe lor... sigh...

and "enjoy" the speed izzi's providing!! hahaha...

Ya, I agree with you. Just back to KL few days ago & read those posts few pages back. Experimented it a few days. Before heavy download, glasnost still show no bt throttle & Utorrent still can connect tracker. After a certain data limit, then snail come visits already. But does the throttle include http surfing throttle.

To me, throttle include slow international server surfing, but the weird thing is Izzi speedtest & local server speedtest.com shows the most fastest speed I ever had (700kbps). Is Izzi trying to mask its throttle ?

I think 7am is the exact time the data limit start gua, because today I let my utorrent bt until 8am. Now suffer from snail-band syndrome already.
Hopefully you can squeeze some juice out of them. Use "special tactics" if needed too. Haha.

my connection goes up to about 430kbps of downloads using bitcomet

i downloaded the entire scrubs seasons 1-7 in 3 days.

but when the holidays over and students come back

it goes back to the slow connection
