u need 1.52v for sp 32M stable @ 2.90Ghz, ofcoz prime w orthos @ 3.0GHz w 1.45v vcore will fail rite away. orthos needs more voltage to be stable if compared to sp 32m. in ya case there was even 100MHz increase of cpu clock, definitely it need more juice...

If that so.Someone had achieved 3.0ghz using 1.47V no error in orthos..= = But when i have increased the voltage up to 1.55V STILL FAIL!

Different proc different oc ability. Mine can achieve 3.2Ghz(orthos 2hours) with only 1.5V back then when i used 4000+. Sold that lovely gem to my fren.In your case, i think it may caused by the ram. Try set trfc 195 and MAL 10(instead of 8 u set). Set 2T and use CL5. No need to pump vdimm that much la bro. Yoour ram is stil in its underclock rate. Report back here. |

QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Mar 12 2008, 02:16 PM) Err.. it's the same stepping la bro. All 4000+ brisbane use G1 stepping. What our fren amdathlon was trying to do was comparing his 4000+ with others 4000+. It's the same stepping but god knows why certain proc oc higher than the other eventho it's based on the same material and technology. It's like buying a guitar. You buy the same exact 2 guitars but only one will give you more feeling when playing. |

Ermm...I will say different batches make overclockability different.
I think ah_khoo typo there already. Even the processors in same batch are produced, overclockabilty still can be different. -pWs- |

FYI, different batch of proc vary in oc ability
and my F3 sales experience told me that, even if you get exactly same batch ( maybe you search online, get those legendary godlike batch numbers), there're possibilities you will get weak proc as well. of coz, the chances to get good proc is higher if u pick a good batch Every proc is unique , there's no two identical proc in world it's all depend on your luck |

Everything has to be taken into account. And not all proc has the same oc-ability. Doesnt mean yours can achieve 3.0ghz at 1.45v vcore if someone else could. Should I say luck plays the role too for getting good batch ?
