keh keh .. just when i thought i had a ridiculously fast machine .. anyway, here's my new OC setting ...
hurm .. still, a +0.08v increment for a mere 40Mhz add-on to 3001Mhz doesnt seem worth it.  shakehead.gif

---sorry for the quality of the SS .. damn slow internet connection make me made those  shakehead.gif

Keep pushing your proc bro. My 4000+ b4 cud reach until 3.2Ghz stable. The longer you 'seksa' the proc, it'l become loose and get better. smile.gif

wow .. watercooled system. whats the temp at 1.4v bro ??

i get windows restarting all the time if i go beyond 3.05Ghz .. getting fed up odi.  shakehead.gif

dont be afraid to add vcore hehe. Just make sure your temp dont xceed 60 degree la.

Water cooling gives advantage on an OC system as the temp getting hard to go higher as compared to air cooling when its under load. Mine is 50~55 degree under load. Even if on 1.6vcore @ 3.5Ghz, my temp did not pass 60 degree. But my proc has limitation tho. Cant go beyond 3.5Ghz stable.

If that so.Someone had achieved 3.0ghz using 1.47V no error in orthos..= = But when i have increased the voltage up to 1.55V STILL FAIL!
*
Different proc different oc ability. Mine can achieve 3.2Ghz(orthos 2hours) with only 1.5V back then when i used 4000+. Sold that lovely gem to my fren.

In your case, i think it may caused by the ram. Try set trfc 195 and MAL 10(instead of 8 u set). Set 2T and use CL5. No need to pump vdimm that much la bro. Yoour ram is stil in its underclock rate. Report back here. smile.gif

again... diff in steppin affect alot when it comes to overclockabilitysmile.gif
*
Err.. it's the same stepping la bro. All 4000+ brisbane use G1 stepping. What our fren amdathlon was trying to do was comparing his 4000+ with others 4000+. It's the same stepping but god knows why certain proc oc higher than the other eventho it's based on the same material and technology.

It's like buying a guitar. You buy the same exact 2 guitars but only one will give you more feeling when playing. blush.gif

all chip come w d code like XXXX YYYY where x equals to year & week while y are alphabets.  smile.gif

ofcoz u cant compared steppin refered by cpu-z coz it's in general format only.  doh.gif
for eg:
bro dblooi got f3, mine oso d same. but his is 074x ABCD, but mine is 0715 RPMW, his can clock up to 3.7~3.8GHz, but mine can't, get my point...  wink.gif
edited:

or if u like, call it diff in batch instead of steppin.... back in socket a time, they called it steppin instead... i've benn talkin too much so i should stop here...  laugh.gif

Got your point aidy.. hehe.. laugh.gif
