Not sure about Shift, but heck when I drive my MOMO with Underground 2 and others just turns me off.

the experience ive tried between nfs version from year to year on my G25 has shown improvements on EA's part in making it more intuned to the wheel.....

in lay man terms the newer version of NFS are having better control when playing using the wheels

guys i just bought a logitech momo 2 days ago to play nfs shift. Im so happy since its my first wheel and its force feedback in Race ON just blew me away.. but since day first im having the dreaded centering problem!! ,

The wheel calibrate fine and centered at first but when in any racing game it start to lose its center point gradually to the right after a few corners..

I had to recalibrate it again by pausing the game and turn in all the way to left/right, but this is just temporary solution.. cause the problem will repeat again..

my question is can i do anything to fix it? or do i need to return in to the shop? i bought it at lowyat plaza btw..

its frustrating to hold the steering at tilted position while im actually driving straight lol :S

oh and also i notice the wheel can turn all the way to the left about 10-15 degree more than turning right .

the latest Logitech Gaming Software fix that problem iinm.

i think im using the latest one Version 5.08.146 dated 9/16/1009 but the problem still persists

im having that problem too with the version that came with the cd but an update to the latest version solve that problem.

selling momo buying the G25 wont solve the problem for older versions of NFSpeed......its just not made for wheel playing thats all

of course not.

u drive a real car in low speed u need to turn the steering more than half when u turn.

@NiTrOLaNCeR - Do u have previous FFB wheels? Use a driver cleaner to clean those unused drivers. Have u calibrate ur wheels? Or try unplug the USB and plug it again, or try different port.

If u just bought it, say less than 3 days, u can still get 1 to 1 replacement.

i personally bought MOMO not because i wanna feel how real it is to drive supercars w/ sth other than keyboard
instead i bought it to be in complete control of proper amount of throttle, brake and wheel turning, which is crucial in sim games because u need to balance between going fast n not burning too much rubber

in games like the NFS series, the traction control is damn not logic 1...thus, many won't feel much diff between using keyboard n wheel, which leads to the fact that "NFS series so lame when play w/ wheel" bla3
but when u put aside the TC thingy, i can say all games is syiok 1 haha

so, i just play racing sim, not into not sim game...

so is momo + shift + TC off?

no its my first wheel, tried many method i even use the centering tweak but to no avail, yes i bought the wheel last saturday.. so its only around 4 days old.. the receipt said less than 7 days can get 1 to 1 replacement i hope its true. gotta call the shop tomorow

My Driving force pro also got this centering problem when playing rfactor, when steering locate at center the wheel keep vibrate, can't keep the car go straight. But ohter game seem normal, i thought it is drive problem? But if really my wheel faulty , i also can't claim warranty, because my wheel already 2 years old.
