Hi guys, I'm thinking of getting one MOMO here but the problem is I think my table is too thick for the clamping. Ryugan, I remembered you showed me a thread where everyone show their cockpit setup, where was it ah? I forgot where already...

Thanks man wink.gif

But the reason why I want to look for these threads because my table is a bit too thick for the clamping. I'm looking for ways to fit it as I don't have extra table or so.. Anyone could give me suggestions?

I'm planning to get one soon, I haven't got it yet. So I've been thinking what solutions I can get before I purchase it, otherwise I don't think I'll get one if I failed to find a solution. Bear in mind that the thickness I measured is 13cm.

Here's the picture of my desk :

Well yeah, it's a drawer, I thought of taking it as well but there's a problem underneath the drawer there's one plank that supports the drawer.. I've been thinking of other ways to fit the MOMO with other table or anything but for now I couldn't think of any cheap ways to have it..

Heh, that thing is totally out the list. I'll post the picture of the plank as soon as I'm back from college. I already talked to ryugan yesterday and he said I can fit the clamps into the desk.

There you go

you getting MOMO?
i dont think there is any problem, as i used my MOMO on my table which looked almost as thick as yours
any exact measurements about how thick is your table?
*
I already posted in previous post, the thickness is 13cm smile.gif

Did you measure the thickness of your table?

QUOTE(maranello55 @ Apr 29 2008, 08:49 PM)
Here u go bluewind...as u can see, the top of the 'J' clamp is a bit 'lopong' coz i loosen the screws to fit the thickness of the table

Thanks a lot man, if the clamp is really about 9cm thick then I don't think it should be the problem. biggrin.gif

Dang, after measuring it, it's only about 8 1/2 cm..... The gap between the plank

Bluewind really interested there. What game you plan to use it for BlueWind?
*
F1C lor, any other mods for F1C to suggest? Mainly I buy this wheel is only to fill out my weekends to explore the setups and possibly join a league for fun. Because I know that I won't get anything much from using the keyboard. It feels sucks when driving especially around the corner where some point I can just push it a little bit harder to the limits using the MOMO. With keyboard, I know it's under limit throttle during cornering, so ya.. haha

Try Startec, Czone, PCzone, cycom n All IT...go around and see which one cheapest...All IT sometimes can get very good bargain....

I'll try looking around, wah thinking of it I have to keep saying "Ok thanks, I'll be back later and consider about it." So paiseh man.. sweat.gif sweat.gif

I found out that wheel are good for game like rFactor. It utilized your wheel to the max. With realistic physic, it is really a awesome game. BUT, anything good come at the price. At 39.99 US, it really worth the money.
*
I know rFactor is a good game, but for now MOMO is only what I can afford. Perhaps in the future, hopefully I'm not hangat-hangat tahi ayam I don't want to waste my money. Been considering buying it for like 3 years, I'm going to make full use of it and not just put it aside and use it for like less than 10 times or so.

I tried the demo before and I find it quite realistic. - The MOMO I heard there are lots of complains about the problematic pedals. I'm just wondering is this fixable by yourself?

Ok then, 'cause I actually realised that there are problems on pedals and etc. on the MOMO and also know that there are lots of guides on fixing those. - I'm only just worried that those problem whether I can solve it by myself.
