here's my system information:

phone: 1203-6566 R9L004
Bluetooth: 1200-5567 R1D
Organizer: 1205-0647 R6H815
CDA: 1210-0066 R2A

Is that the latest firmware? I did ask Chris yesterday, and he said the phone I bought has the latest firmware. I'm not too convinced though sad.gif

When I press either or both of my volume buttons, nothing happens and nothing appears! sad.gif

No idea about the GPS though doomx, but I think there is an earlier post, by davidmak if i'm not mistaken, about how he uses his g900 for gps. mcm syok je.

Thanx demio. smile.gif

Just came back from Atlantis around 2PM today. They replaced my faulty phone with a new one. I must say, the service there is superb! They gave me a replacement with no questions asked!

My replacement set looks to be ok, I hope it is ok...so far so good. have yet to check my firmware version, and also yet to really test the phone. will update once I have done so.

Thx bro doomx...and also thanx for your recommendation! smile.gif

Here's the system information for my replacement set:

phone: 1203-6566 R9M003
Bluetooth: 1200-5567-R1F02
Organizer: 1205-0647-R6J825
CDA: 1210-0066-R4A

What's the difference between these 4 actually? I mean, which one is the most important one? the phone version or the CDA? I'm clueless sad.gif

So far, after almost 1 day of usage, it hasn't hung on me yet...but the battery went dead real fast just now. hmm, and also, somehow...I get a good vibe about this new set, it somehow feels..."better". biggrin.gif

i've witnessed some great pictures taken from estato.. at least up to my satisfaction.. however, my concern is that not all g900 could take those kinda picture, which really confuses me a little.. can someone explain on this?
maybe upload some pictures taken personally to share with us here?

also, i've learned that at low light conditions g900 performs below par..
so i'll like to ask if there's any accessory to help g900 take better picture in the dark, eg. add-on xenon flash?

Has anyone having problems connecting your G900 Bluetooth to laptop? Mine seems to have problems pairing together. K800i can connect to laptop and G900, G900 can pair with K800i but not with my Inspiron 6400 laptop.

thanx buddy. about changing the icons, u can head on over to the G900 discussion at esato forums. if i'm not mistaken, a guy did mention about changing his icons. whether successfully or unsuccessfully, i can't recall. hmm.gif

Added on September 9, 2008, 3:52 pmHey, does our G900 uses UIQ3.0, or UIQ3a or UIQ 3b? I'm trying to download themes from mobile9.com, and i don't know which one the g900 is using..lol.

C-series phones are Cybershot... G-series are Smartphones

Difference between Cybershot and non-Cybershot is the lens technology if I am not mistaken

you can try turning off transition @ menu > setting > display > transition.

Its suppose to help smooth out the graphic. I turn it off and notice a slight improvement is respond time.
