Cathay is like THE BEST place to hunt for camera Bags in Singapore. They have like a dedicated section in their shop for these.

Tim: Maybe you can show the lappie compartment?

Alamak...
Now cannot... anyway, it is a seperate compartment with lotsa hard padding, which at times, u feel safe with ur computer inside. It is a single side zipper compartment. The rest all have double zipper.

The not so syiok part it they don't have proper place for computer charger + power adapter + mouse... tongue.gif

Anyway I don't bring my camera knapsack around. It make me look like school boi. Hehehehe! I have two bags. A Lowepro Nova mid size carrying case and a Caseman/Bagman knapsack for traveling purposes. Its very comfortable and has ample storage for equipment and gear. Lots of hidden pockets.

Double protection sounds good. My Crumpler 7Million is just water resistant. Doesn't have a water resistant AW Cover. TRYING TO pry the AW From my cheapo bag to see if it can fit......

Might as well tuck in a raincoat into ur crumpler. Can AW yourself including the bag icon_idea.gif
Once got caught in heavy rain during jungle trakking. All i have is a black garbage plastic bag to cover my camera bag. sad.gif
After the lesson, my raincoat never leave the camera bag.

hmm.gif .... Sound like a good idea. Currently I stuff in the plastic shopping bag the CRumpler came with, so I know that would fit the Whole bag in. And a couple of zipper Bags big enough to stock my camera with lenses attached, just in case,,,, sweat.gif

Mine's the slingshot 200AW. Great bag for starters like me,very easy to get access to the camera compartment to take your dSLR out and start snapping. Thats what i love about this bag. The space inside can hold a 40D+Grip+kitlens,a normal tele lense,a prime lense and a flashgun.depending on your configuration though. I've seen people filling this bag with those uber expensive L lenses too. laugh.gif

The only downside of this bag i can think of now is theres not enough space for your own items,eg clothes, books etc.only can fit small items in the top and front compartment. And also after carrying the bag for a long time my shoulder starts to hurt.

Could it be just to insert 1 leg of the tripod in? Like a monopod? hmm.gif

if u put 1 leg in with the tripod in its 'compact' mode it wont be properly held... monopods i can understand just slot it in the straps. but tripods are larger....

im confused now....
