QUOTE(kornelius @ Mar 30 2008, 10:10 AM) Got it for rm270 from mitmivec. QUOTE(G|O @ Mar 30 2008, 02:55 PM) Mine's the slingshot 200AW. Great bag for starters like me,very easy to get access to the camera compartment to take your dSLR out and start snapping. Thats what i love about this bag. The space inside can hold a 40D+Grip+kitlens,a normal tele lense,a prime lense and a flashgun.depending on your configuration though. I've seen people filling this bag with those uber expensive L lenses too. The only downside of this bag i can think of now is theres not enough space for your own items,eg clothes, books etc.only can fit small items in the top and front compartment. And also after carrying the bag for a long time my shoulder starts to hurt. |

He does sell the fastpack series though when i met up with him he had only the Fastpack 200 and Fastpack 350. Nice dude. QUOTE(myjunk @ Mar 30 2008, 08:37 PM) hmm.. if not mistaken, derek87 got one just like the slingback series but it's Canon branded and only RM99 or RM199. Yeah the RRP is way too expensive. Anyway on the bag there's a huge Canon EOS label, i find that too flashy
Hmm iianm its mengsuan. He got it when he bought his 40D i think. |

QUOTE(mr lappy @ Mar 31 2008, 03:12 PM) ive always wanted to ask this... u know the 2 'rubber' black 'strap' at the back of the bag? i know its for carrying tripods but how on earth do u use it?? i've never figured that 1 out.... do u force the tripod in ? and the rubber thing expands over time? im using the aw300 btw... ![]() Are you talking about the parts circled? If you are, those are Sliplock loops.for you to attach extra pouches/lens pouches to store more stuff. This post has been edited by pengster: Mar 31 2008, 07:21 PM |

QUOTE(mr lappy @ Mar 31 2008, 08:36 PM) ohh... so thats what it is... for their sliplock pouch range.... i guess the fella i saw just forced the tripod through the thing.... Yeah btw, wont it be asking your stuff to be stolen if u start sticking pouches right outside the bag ? Hmm i guess it wouldnt be much of a problem unless of course, you're always taking pics in heavily crowded areas. Anyway i guess only people with some knowledge about photography would know that Lowepro are camera bags QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Mar 31 2008, 08:41 PM) I cant fit my dad's old tripod on it.the legs are connected besides the fact that that tripod is bloody heavy and would break my back if i did carry it with the bag. |

Yeah. Unless its those super expensive CF tripods. And its extremely useful when you need to shoot group photos too. then no choice have to lug around the tripod. =/

QUOTE(xLegato @ May 22 2010, 09:44 AM) I'm contemplating getting a Crumpler Million Dollar Home, but I'm not really sure which. Looking at 6/7/8, since 5 and below are too small. I called Crumpler in KLCC up to inquire but they told me they only have the 8 Million Dollar Home right now... I'm currently using a 7MDH, and it won't fit the 70-200 F2.8L mounted on my 40D comfortably. I could extend the buckle strap but it would make my bag look and feel awkward.I'll be fitting primarily: either 24-105mm or 70-200mm mounted on EOS 50D, the other unmounted lens and a 580EX II flashgun inside. Extra space is a plus, since I could be carrying around an extra macro or 135mm at times, but it's not a must. What would be ideal? Is the 8MDH a huge boost in space from the 7MDH and worth the extra premium? From what I've seen, you can mount the 70-200 on a body and fit it in the 8MDH nicely. |
