Are you talking about the parts circled?

If you are, those are Sliplock loops.for you to attach extra pouches/lens pouches to store more stuff.

ohh... so thats what it is... for their sliplock pouch range.... i guess the fella i saw just forced the tripod through the thing....

btw, wont it be asking your stuff to be stolen if u start sticking pouches right outside the bag ?

Yeah those loops cant stretch enough to fit my tripod. haha.

Hmm i guess it wouldnt be much of a problem unless of course,you're always taking pics in heavily crowded areas. Anyway i guess only people with some knowledge about photography would know that Lowepro are camera bags

I cant fit my dad's old tripod on it.the legs are connected

besides the fact that that tripod is bloody heavy and would break my back if i did carry it with the bag.

Hate carrying tripods around. But sometimes really got no choice especially when I wanna snap my own pictar

Yeah. Unless its those super expensive CF tripods. And its extremely useful when you need to shoot group photos too. then no choice have to lug around the tripod. =/

I use 3 camera bags. One for traveling, one for events, and one for times when I don't need to carry the bag around.

Bag 1: Targus Racing Stripe Backpack (this one use for traveling)
This one has 2 main compartments, Camera and Laptop (can fit 15.4 inch)
Heavily padded too. I got this for free but I think it is retailing at RM288 or RM388 (can't remember which price)

i bought this at a camera fair in PJ....i think they had another fair recently.....i cant remember the name of the company....a lot of tamrac bags onsale when i bought it...

i think you were refering to the foto miami's warehouse sale at jalan tandang, pj.
yeah they got a lot of tamracs selling at a very competitive price.
was there on thurday afternoon to buy a manfrotto only to be informed that all of them are sold off by 10am.

i uses crumpler 6million. plan to get a lappy + camera bag, targus seem to hav some....
