I'm using Lowepro Photo Runner, it's a belt pack and can be used as shoulder bag. Just a small size and can only fit 1 camera with mid zoom lens attached, 1 extra lens and 1 flashlight. I like this beg for the belt pack capabilities, can help to ease the shoulder burden.

QUOTE(xandman @ Mar 10 2008, 03:59 PM) since u want a backpack... ya i saw that thinktank rotation 360 before... seriously the idea is good but it looks kinda ugly when u rotate the beltpack to front, leave a big hole on ur backpack. I like any bag that can lessen the shoulder burden and able to retrieve camera fast and u like beltpack... i suggest take a look at thinktank's rotation 360... a beltpack INSIDE a backpack...=) it's not cheap though...but u get 2 in 1...=) QUOTE(julchin_09 @ Mar 11 2008, 02:03 PM) But Lowepro has produced a backpack style which has the Lowepro Slingshot camera retrieval method which does not require you to take out you bag. Thats the Lowepro Fastpack... I think Fastpack is better than SlingShot AW but why FastPack dont have AW? |

QUOTE(julchin_09 @ Mar 11 2008, 07:44 PM) I think AW Stands for the All Weather sheath cover that extends to cover the whole bag. But from what I see, the new Lowepros have these weather sealed zippers and hydro resistant materials for the construction...... yes... AW is for that cover. The Primus AW is constructed by water resistant outer fabric but still have the AW cover to protect from rain and sand. So it will be nicer if FastPack comes with the AW cover too... |

QUOTE(julchin_09 @ Mar 11 2008, 08:00 PM) Double protection sounds good. My Crumpler 7Million is just water resistant. Doesn't have a water resistant AW Cover. TRYING TO pry the AW From my cheapo bag to see if it can fit...... Might as well tuck in a raincoat into ur crumpler. Can AW yourself including the bag Once got caught in heavy rain during jungle trakking. All i have is a black garbage plastic bag to cover my camera bag. After the lesson, my raincoat never leave the camera bag. This post has been edited by jady: Mar 12 2008, 11:18 AM |

yes i think 7MDH is big enough to fit all your item. another alternative is using Lowepro Inverse 200AW, you can fit in your camera+grip+lens nicely.
Anyone know where to get Crumpler Jimmy Bo in Malaysia? (other than UK) |

selinix: Thanks a lot!
Isepunye: Minitrekker is big enough to fill up your whole collection, but there is no separate area for daily item like cloth or misc things. travel and hiking best to get bag like lowepro fastpack, lowepro rover, tamrac adventure type of backpack |

QUOTE(yushin @ Dec 29 2010, 06:54 PM) D700 without grip. if with grip... impossible to go in already. Try to put body first, lens on top. Then it's much easier for u to zip. Some ppl prefer to put that way, cos in case bag drop to floor, won't impact d lens. (if d lens more expensive than body hehe)Later I snap a pic and post. [attachmentid=1965447] |
