Let your eyes decide which one is the better panel instead of sticking to a particular brand nod.gif

samsung siries 5 sure hve great image.. but kenot compare it with Aquos A65M coz it does not using hdmi cable.. however, read some of the post here saying that sharp give more natural color. so i'm going for sharp.. to bright color buat sakit mata n rclxub.gif

I don't think so...
From my experience on selecting LCD TV, i've done side-by-side comparison between Toshiba Regza RV500 and Sharp Aquos A65 at a shop....
they both using same inputs HD source, i set there using both TV's remote controls, and do some PQ tweaking... im trying to make both TVs colors and contrast look the same, but it won't... btw, i'm tweaking it for about an hour...

the results:
Regza- Very vibrant colors but too fake to match natural colors. This LCD TV favor red color more.
Aquos- Very accurate colors more to natural colors. This LCD TV favor blue color more. I chose Aquos.

IMO, these are the marketing strategy for LCD TVs manufacturers to sell to different marketing targets, and im the target that loves natural colors on LCD TV. Nuff said.

how sharp is that depends on the video source, dont expect a 480i to be upscaled to 1080p with blu ray quality, if you use it to watch TV i can tell you it is not sharp at all

samsung TV also not bright, ifi you set the backlight to 6/10, it is quite dim, choose movie mode will be the best for your eyes, but the screen appear yellowish in movie mode, i dont know why.

You do know.... that about 94% of PS3 games aren't even 720p native, right?

They are upscaled 720p. The game's actual resolution is something that you'd be shocked if I tell you.
Games which are native 1080p(actual 1920x1080 pixels on screen)... I can't think of many. They are only PSN games.

Need some advise. I plan to get a LCD tv for my PS3 in my not so big room for < RM 2k. I'm looking at a 32" HD ready panel. Appreciate some recommendation please.
