For quad, most likely you need to touch VTT

Temps are more sensitive towards Vcore rather than FSB so as a comparison, it's better to know what is the clock speed/settings and Vcore.

My Vcore is 1.2v under load w 3.3GHz.

Coretemp, the temp is 70 C +-
Realtemp, the temp is 60 C +-.

That is why I want to ask some opinions from Q9300 user here. smile.gif

Why can't it reach 3.4Ghz? You're already at 3.3Ghz at 1.2v ma.....

For penryn, the last I heard/read, the recommendation is not to go above 1.35v...

The noctua HSF is nice but maybe you should get a high-end one like the TRUE wub.gif ....

its because its low multi, normally quadies walled arround 480 fsb... so 9450 also hard to go so high clock speed...

I see... hmmm.... too bad it's limited by the FSB wall rather than the vcore.... guess that's the downside of a low CPU multiplier.....

Ya. It is because of the low multi.
But i did try 3412MHz. Stable for for few hours then BSOD.
I think need a lot of VTT. hmm.gif hmm.gif

As long as dts not sticky, realtemp is the most accurate application for now thumbup.gif

Between Core Temp and Real Temp, the result of temperature is different but actually they are the same rclxub.gif
I mean Core Temp Tjunc is higher than Real Temp so if we based on "Delta to Tjunc Max", the result still the same.
i attached my screen shots here. Pic 1 shows the Temp both on Real Temp and Core Temp, Pic.2 i set the core temp to show delta to Tjunc. BTW, i'm using noctua cooler which is not really able to cool down my cpu. Last time, i OCed to 3.9 but the temp was so high, 75-80... Dun wan to harm my CPU sweat.gif I also think i still can lower my Vcore..
