Ya both Sulcata and Leopard will grow much larger than Star and both have very rapid growth in the first few yrs of life !!! ie 3 inch a yr

But 7-8 inch is not the Max size for Star
- Male max out 6-8 inch ( maybe larger but never seen one past 8 " )
- Female 8 to as much as 14 inch ( never seen one that size max about 13 inch )

Cut open ?? Haha there is a machine call X-ray I reckon cheaper and easier to know the result !!! more viable as who will cut your tortoise up in Malaysia !!!

I think let your tort eat and soak your tort in water....(water level should be half of your tort height else suffocated)

Soak for about 5-7 min and your tort should poo poo......

Repeat for 2-3 days.....check the progress. Hope this help..... smile.gif

A few but I personally think not so suitable to be kept as pet in our warm tropic !!!

sp include Egyptian , Tent , Serrated star , Parrot beak , Spider ..........etc all about or under the 5 " mark
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Except for the Spider ( not too easy to keep ) that is suitable to our warm tropic !!

Clean, nice and simple setting! I love it rclxms.gif ! I am a organic gardener, just a concern for your tortoise, check is the grass you bough begin spray with pesticide or fungecide, cause it is so healthy green. If you feel no peace of using it at the moment, leave it for 2 weeks( plus spray mist of water to the grass daily to maintain them smile.gif ), the chemical should be reduce and wont bring harm to your tortoise if he is eating it. I dont know is those thing harmful to tortoise or not.
