Added on July 8, 2008, 5:23 pmbtw, my tortoise pooped some wood chips out. must have eaten a few wood chips. so now indoor tank's bedding is newspaper ONLY and outdoor is as the pics above. how to make sure 100% no wood chips left in my star?? If they will come out just let it be - Soaking them more often do help ie 1-2 times daily !!! Previous owner / keeper/seller must have kept them on wood chip/shaving ( what a bad choice for beeding ) ............. |

QUOTE(beardiekid @ Jul 7 2008, 05:32 PM) I think only 'SOHAI' who dont know take care of stars. I was kept ST for almost 10 years before. Dont face any major problem at all But now i allready retired & gave away all the star to other people Added on July 8, 2008, 10:19 pm QUOTE(inexsis @ Jul 7 2008, 10:07 PM) Bro, you can get the Heat Wave Bulb in at Natural Aquatic Subang. But its not Exo-Terra lah. Its JBL brand. The prices slightly expensive compare with Exo Terra. There are no more stock for Heat Wave Bulb for whole Malaysia even with hagen stock also finished. In Penang, you guys can get the JBL Heat Wave Bulb at CTY Aquarium at Jln. Burma there. Last 2 weeks, I saw in Pet Safari Taman Megah got sell Exo-Terra Heat Wave Bulb ( 40w ). They still have around 5 blubs. Or you can try contact Chris Nonono to asked for the JBL Heat Wave Bulb Good Luck This post has been edited by Fat^Cat: Jul 8 2008, 10:19 PM |

QUOTE(King83 @ Jul 9 2008, 05:55 PM) Both also not so easy to care for , Sulcata will be a better choice But there are other more tropical sp ie Elongata , Red Footed ..... that do not need special heating n can be housed outdoor after a certain size !! |
