the newest addition is the mato king tiger right?
so far the review stated the gearbox are wee bit unsatisfactory comparative to heng long's, and the bulge on the lower glacis plate is kinda distracting, heh

you can't go wrong with King Tiger. It's huge, it has the new rx18 board inside, dimension-wise it has no problem. My second choice would be Panther G. Third would be a Stug III/Jagdpanther (although the lower glacis plate of Jagdpanther is kinda off).

Hi. I newie to RC tank, but very very interested to own/buy one. For months now I have been searching the net about it-yes it is getting more exciting and interesting but more confusing too...Any recommendations of where or what to buy. The german tanks eg Tiger tank seems ok. More interested in a metal track and gear airsoft RC tanks of scale 1:16.
Any advices from anyone will be most appreciated.

I'm not so sure where you could obtain one in Sabah/Sarawak, but I did saw some post in fb group that there are gathering in Brunei for RC tanks

As for metal tracks and gears, from what I read, it is advisable to at least obtain the full metal thingy for it, which mean you'll need metal tracks, gears, wheels, suspension just so the rest can cope with that extra weight.

If you're going for Tiger, find the one from the latest release, which utilizing the latest RX18 board, less faulty exterior and whatnot. The price should be around RM200-RM300, at least here in Kuala Lumpur.

Thanks Tiger 1. I will fly over to KL to buy one. Can you be a bit more precise as to where in KL I can buy it (Tiger tank)? Cost is not much problem as they say " a thing of beauty is a joy forever!" rclxub.gif icon_question.gif

since nowadays its better IMO to buy from a person than a shop, the price would be lower smile.gif

Some progress for diorama which will be used later in our gathering biggrin.gif
The floor is tad tipsy, hence the somewhat floating column.
And please don't comment on the room, this is the best room I could get in the college laugh.gif

Haha heard about this thread, well i have all the henglong 1/16 tanks, from first generations which were crap until they release the tanks with rx18 boards. The best one i think todate would be the ztz99, bigger than king tiger hahahahaha. Here's some pictures of my collection.Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image

Whatvis your view on the StuG III?

And another thing is: have you done any mod to any of your tanks?
Kinda interested, hehe
