nah not really...only beefing up on reaserching the toys...and stil saving up for a hd65...

originally around RM6.2k i think... then saw some offers at KLIAV for 5.8k. Got mine for 5.5k which i thought was a good deal but htkaki got the best deal ever.. around 4k only. really REALLY worth considering... cheers.

I think the onkyo 905 has this processor too. Don't know about the other brands though tongue.gif

Only hi-end AVR and DVDP employs this chip.

Is the issues with over heating in onkyo amp (especially the hi end avr) around the net is true? I read lots of mix report regarding this.

Not necessarily. The chip is for upscaling purpose, a DVDP uses upscaling chip much more than a BD player. biggrin.gif
