QUOTE(juyut @ Nov 6 2008, 12:30 PM) No,not by default. You can use certain homebrew applications to get this video format to work on your unit, but it isn't that good if you ask me.As chicaman said,PMP format is way better as it's good in quality and it's small in size.Go get yourself a PMP player and start watching it! Just for your information, you can't play this video format by default as well, you'll need to get a PMP player like PMP MOD or something like that. |

Is that PSP3000 is using a more sophisticated CPU to defeat the purpose of CFW ? [like what happened in PS3]
last yr for the case of PSP2000, not too long after the launch of it, DA alrdy came out with 3.71 M33, whereas this time with PSP3000, DA seems struggling on running CFW on PSP3000. Although PSP3000 has launched a week or 2 already. There's some ppl mentioned about replacing PSP2k CPU on a 3k mobo, if that's the only mean to run CFW and ahem games, that would be a costly and unviable solution. |

PMP is way better.Mp4 is decent though.
PSP doesn't support it by default.Yes,similar to gpsp where a tool is used to get something which is NOT meant to work on a psp unit to actually work on it. |

No wonder PSP2k sells like hot cake and its soon becoming antiquegraphics wise, it wont look as good as ps2, but definitely better than ps1 for sure. but depends on the game also. haha. tried crisis core on my aunt's tv, the cutscenes were awesome. looks like watching a movie. battery, well, im not sure about that. i guess the drainage will reduce since the screen is off and the tv is displaying. you need a Component Cable for it. try googling it. or if youre rajin, check my previous posts some 1~2 months back. i've covered about it. the problem is, the DA team still needs to decrypt the modules in the 3k cpu. better you watch this for clarification PSP Updates conversation between darkalex and royginald. Sony's gonna shoot them in their foot by not allowing HB(ahem games) on PSP. They should learn M$ way, close one eye |

QUOTE(benwong88 @ Nov 6 2008, 11:55 PM) Anytime man Added on November 7, 2008, 6:26 am QUOTE(neo_sharky @ Nov 7 2008, 03:26 AM) It really is up to you.(Good Stuff) - A slim unit is lighter, better speakers (different position),faster UMD loading, better RAM,loads the internet browser faster (Very small difference) and a few other stuff. - A fat unit has a solid feel to it as it sinks in your palms really well,it has Ir support,it's UMD drive is much better and it's capable of running 1.50 kernel homebrew. (Bad Stuff) - A slim unit has no ir support, not capable of running 1.50 homebrew (kXploit format),feels plasticky (For some, not me though). - One might say that a fat unit is heavy, slow UMD loading, slow internet browsing, and a few others. Basically,it's up to you.Go to a shop, see it for yourself, compare it and buy the one you like most.It doesn't matter if you buy a fat unit or a slim one, they're all just as good.
