what type of petshop is petsmore ?
is it like 88marine or pet safari or pet family ?
or its more like petshack that concentrate more on dogs rather than other animals....?

is just like pet family, less the same... I think they are more concentrate in dogs... For more details I think u have to contact petsmore coz seldom go petsmore...

@inexsis, I have update the first post this morning... petsmore have supplies for bunny... if they don''t have the stock you want, you can ask them to see whether they can get for you or not...

Anyone can let me know if The Pet Family have bunny supplies as I didn't go that far...

I am not sure if PetsMore is a new name given to the Petaling Street Zoological supplies. I have heard about many animals bought from there suffer early deaths due to diseases. Mostly dogs.

My advice is, try to get your pets from breeders (willing to share 1st hand knowledge) where you can see the parents directly and also can choose healthier stocks.

just gotta be careful when u buy your rabbits from petshops like petsmore. got to inspect all over especially the teeth. my 1st rabbit from petsmore has malocclusion and with this problem, i every 2 months need to bring her go vet for trimming...not very nice of them to breed rabbits with malocclusion

i've googled about the nesting box, some of them said it is not necessary but wanna seek advice from some of the experienced rabbit owners here first before i go buy one or go make one

@bebee/inexsis, I'm referring to "bunny supplies", my main purpose is to list the petshop that sell bunnies supplies such as pellets, bedding, hays, water bottle, treats and etc...

I do not recommend especially if you have intention to breed your bunny with malocclusion. IF you do then you are just the same as those people who are irresponsible and contribute to stocks like what you have got in the first place...

and how are you going to make sure that the kits are securely in one spot and kept warm if they are left in the open without a nest box?

yep2.....i'm looking for new petshop that got lots of stuff in them n lots of animals tooo.....
i like too spend most of my money to buy stuff for my pets....and i like to jalan2 tgk pets......make my day HAPPY when

i'm not looking for new rabbits.....my rabbits juz gave birth to 4 kits recently.....

Added on January 14, 2008, 11:24 pmu should put them in a nest box......u can buy them or make it urself....
u can get rabbit house in pet family taman megah for rm20. then u turn it upside down and it became a nestbox
then put in some cloth in it to make them warm n comfort.......

Stalkie......why dont u put pics of sang terap home made nest box.....juz incase if accident happen
and they can view/read it in the 1st page......and u should teach them a thing or two on how to take care of newborn kits incase of an accident labour
and u should remind them to DO NOT BREED if they
do not know how to take care of them......lets the expert do it for u.....
juz buy it......

Yippee!! Finally found a vet in Penang thats confident enough to neuter rabbits. Will be taking Pebbles and BamBam for check up tomoro.

On another topic, i wonder how rabbits would react to the sound of firecrackers? CNY is coming and there will be nonstop firecrackers here. I'm staying at a low cost flat and u know how loud and frequent some of these explosion can be in places like this. Thinking might have to move them somewhere for the time being. How do u guys/girls handle occasions like this?

sangterap, petsmore and zoological supplies were two different shops..petsmore has many branches,the one in ps is one of these branches..among three pets store along the petaling street, petsmore can be considered as the best condition la for me..if you rida lrt putra, drop at pasar seni station..you will find petsmore as the first pets store..its located opposite the UO.it is the place where i got my prestige hamster food stocks..beside pets safari

is there a more quiet area that you could move their cages to? mine find security in their cardboard box or under the couch. they'll stay in there until the disturbance is over. generally they feel more secure if they are not in the 'open' so maybe when it gets too noisy, you could drape some thick towels over their cages to create a more enclosed surrounding (of course, they must be able to breathe in there too ) nose rubs & pats also help to calm them down

i already pegi pets safari, pets wonderland, 88marine, pet family, natural aquatic, pet shack, sherithan pet n pets lover center in sunway.....
now i'm looking for new petshop so i can go jalan2......
interested to go to petsmore......i know area ss15......but....too many kedai there
if no one can guide me or giv landmark, i have to drive2 around there till found the kedai......

pets safari in Ikano, pets lover center in sunway and pets wonderland in Mid Valley also got lots of bunnies supply......
but pets wonderland shop dah byk already closed.....in OU already close and in subang parade moved to smaller shop......
