Hey, why so many hands needed to hold a small ND? Abuse ke? Look like one gang of people trying to wollap the rabbit. LOL!!!!!

I don't think you need to endure the scratches just let them pose naturally. I believe all the imported rabbits especially show rabbits are handled very often and they will pose on their own.

Really nice photos. Nice background too.

Pose naturally? Of course we let it pose naturally....... the scratches all came when we carried them/they tried to jump off the table!

The many hands -- 1 to pick up and put on the table/hold down, 1 to groom, 1 to hold the cloth backdrop smooth when the bunny is running around/walking around and scrunching the cloth up/biting the cloth. Seriously extremely uncooperative models except for the ex-show bunnies tongue.gif laugh.gif

But not all are used to handling and we had to get them to pose some way or another tongue.gif

On another note... I'm thinking of attempting to groom Baby Navi into a proper show rabbit... it is after all show quality and its father is a grand champion. Show bunny should be show-trained. Then can pose nicely and show off tongue.gif

1 way is morning when they're still active...

Or before you feed them, they're hungry, so lay a food trail that they can eat and move around while you snap some pics. Or tempt it with treats/bells... sometimes you need to carry it, play with it or pose it in order to get the shot.

Or put it in places where it's not gone before, if they're curious they'll start exploring and that's when you can snap pics. Most of the time this is the most effective method.

And you need to plan to take the photo, rather than just so happen to take a pic. And the easier it is to take that shot, the more boring the pose smile.gif

I've lost count how many months of total accumulated time I've lost over the last 9 years just waiting for the right shot of my bunnies... laugh.gif

You definitely should groom Navi to be a show bunny in case we are able to start off a show here in Malaysia. I believe if he has got all the traits of a grand champion, he should conform to the breed standards.

Anyhow, IMHO, not all grand champions produces grand champions but that increase the chances of getting champ offsprings. That's one thing great about breeding show rabbits because we cannot be certain of how Mother Nature allocates the genes at the end of the day.
