Yo bros, glad to share... this is my first encounter also, find it rather amused and surprised when i saw the mating ritual... was laughing away when i saw it....haha...
One thing i'm not too sure, is this fellow considered a sub-adult or already an adult male? had been keeping him for the past 3 weeks, will be 1 month coming end of the week, still no sign of molting, eating well and very active.. Maybe some bros who have an idea can share their experience? roughly your sub-adults take how long to molt? Previously encounter before but never track..

Bro btl, usually it will take 2 to 3 weeks for the sub-adult male to moult depending on the initial size when u first caught 'him'.

Bro BTL, from your youtube, confirmed sub-adult male le.. and yes, from my experience, their last in-star period can last anything from 1wk to 4wks depending on their age when caught.. but final size doesn't seem dependent on how long they they spend in last in-star.

Bro seng, NT# would be too far and time consuming if I'm joining in the noon hunt. Most likely would go to P$ again as hehe that is my lucky ground

Yesterday when to hunt at Clementi Wood. Great place but too bad im late as most FS nest had been checked by other FS hunters which might came on saturday or wkdays. Still manage to catch some FS Small-Med size bt sadly ALL are "Bacul" (coward). Since they cant fight, i practise catch and release.

Singapore Fighting Spider Competition 2010 - Unofficial

Let's hold one since there are quite a nos of bros into playing fs now !

Date of Competition - 28th (Sun) March 2010
Time - Noon
Venue - Thomson

There will be two categories of championship. Medium Size winner and Large Size winner. Only one winner in each category. Flow of the match would be by drawing lots and knocking out the loosers. Each person is only allow to register one fs per category. Inorder to make the competition more interesting, per registration fee $5 would be imposed to buy curry puffs (Old Chang Kee, Tip Top, A1 or maybe Pie Kia ??) for the winners (hopefully he don't get choked by the nos of curry puffs he gonna eat on that day hehe)

Well, that's what I can think of... u guys can contribute your ideas as well and let's make it happens !
