decided to test it with a chop.
new FS won, chop lost. chop is struggling for its life right now... dont think it can survived till next day.
i decided the name my new FS, Pride. haha
too bad i did not capture the starting part of the fight..

I brought back 2 FS worth keeping from Sat's hunt with the Bros, so I pitted them against the good 2 FS which I already have (all M-size).

Fuyoh vs NTU Spar

Smilac vs Pasir Ris SupPow

Interestingly the 2 newly caught FS won. Decided to name them Fuyoh and Smilac.

While resting them to determine who will be my M sized champion, I checked out the X-Mas present given to me by Santa Jong and wow... 2C's head looks pretty wide. Tested him against the stronger BM FS that had unexpectedly defeated Trevally's FireCloud earlier.

Waa.. 2C's head is bigger and arms also slightly longer, color also very nice. Thanks Santa Jong!!!

Anyway, i caught this type of blue subspecies recently among the CB leaves at Mandai.
The photo is taken from a reference by trevally in this forum. the photographer is one ellen tan of KL, i think.
the video is the one i caught.
he had only 1-arm and i have already released him, as i hoped he would breed more.

i am surprised that this beautiful subspecies and trevally's orange female can be found in SG. they are very rare.
In almost 40 years of catching fs (off & on) this is the first time i have come across them!

This is the same type of spider i caught from Sg Congkak Forest reserve last mth.
Very exotic striking blue colour but arm size quite short. I feel its a male coz the face is white.

Then Pride is SL. Compare it with Saino on sat see whose bigger.

Wah the cricket is bigger then the fs and yet hazelnut got the guts to eat him. I think while you left them in the container, the cricket got free from hazelnut and counter attacked him in the night. That's a warning to bros here feeding crickets to their fs.

Goldy is about the size of Rain...

Mafia recover..however it;s showing sign of dragging...if it;s still go on like this i will release him this weekend.

Anyway i had just caught another FS which is about the same size as Rain yesterday at the spot where i caught Silver last time (Spend about 45mins to an hour there alone again yesterday while i drive past and got sometimes before head back to office)..Had not test him against
Rain and Mafia yet...

I let go of the rest of the FS there...hence now left with only 3 FS...

I will only be free this saturday from 3-4pm as i will need to rush for soccer at 5pm...
My COACH recall me recently back to the team as a few key players got injured and the team is fighting for top 3 in the league..(Think my this old bone still can run lah..

Haiz..i felt very low morale last week after i accidentally step on the 'Blue Pao" ,feel so bad for the rest of the week...Not easy to catch 'L' Size nowaday...and further more it;s win mafia in 1 single chop...still blaming myself for steping on it till date.
Rain is so far only ML Size leh...The other fs which is about Rain size...i hadn;t try fight with RAIN yet as i know Rain had convert to partial chop..so it;s dangerous to fight him with Rain while Mafia is still recovering from last week aftermath with goldy.

Hi Bro, pls dont feel too sad as time will heal the pain.

At least everytime when you "lost" a big fs you "gain" a big one soon again.
And compared to us, your "spider luck" is way better than some of the kakis here including me.
Went for donkey times of hunting trips then can get one big fs.
I even feel that i cant get a big fs anymore after Kane. Really difficult nowadays.

Ok see you this sat. Maybe we go to PA that side where you caught your new ML.
